Is there anyone using True? Can you tell me if I can also update my new passport through the app? Thanks.

I don't see a way to update passport number in the True app. Since Thai ID numbers are permanent identifiers, it's not a function required by the vast majority of their customers. In any case, True probably sees it as insecure.

When I renewed my passport I had to visit a True shop in person to do the update. They made a copy of my passport and took my photo.

Hope this helps.

Why not just go to True shop.

You state in another thread one day overstay.

They won't haul you off to immigration. Refuse to update at worst.

You stated exit Thailand today.

What's the big deal necessity to update your details now.

I can see you are on of the most acknowledged on the forum: do you know if banks are connected directly to SIM providers, so can verify everyone details? Thank you

Can't see why it would be "frozen".

If worried that much just go to true shop in mall and also to bank teller to update details of new pp if you haven't already

Cause bank has my new passport details, while the SIM is on my name, surname and Date Of Birth (matching my bank account) but still on my old passport.

I just worried about the 1 day overstay for the SIM provider.

I would doubt that very much.

I'm useless for advice on matters relating to sim.

I use K bank but don't bother with the app.

Whenever I renew a pp the bank updates new pp # when I visit bank.

My sim is True and I have never done anything with bank in regards the sim.

Don't imagine they (true service staff) would give two hoots.

Just go to true shop if concerned.

I wouldn't be worried.

BTW you are now on 2 days overstay you will be fined 1000b.

Have money with you when depart.

Assume via air.

For others: only one day overstay would avoid fine. (usual practice)
