90 Day On-line system not updated on exiting Thailand

Featured Replies

My wife and I have been successfully using the 90 Day On-line reporting system for over 3 years.  We left Thailand for the first time since using the system in late July and returned a few days later.

It appears the on-line 90 Day Reporting system wasn’t updated when we left Thailand and has sent us both automated email reminders that our 90 Day Reporting is due in mid-September which it clearly isn’t as 90 Days after re-entering Thailand will be late October.

Anyone else had this problem?

This certainly happened to me following my latest European trip nearly 18 months ago. But please bear in mind that your next 90-day reports due late next month will have to be submitted in person - or maybe by snail mail if your immigration office will allow that, as mine (Rayong) did in my case.

Ignore the reminder email.

There is no link between TM47 and exiting or entering Thailand.

Work out your new due date yourself.

Good option is to type into google entry date plus 89 days.

Few different sites will spit out new due date.

Then count back 15 days for date window opens for report.

By way of example type

"September 2 2025 plus 89 days"

When you do... Google spits out

"Today is September 2, 2025 so that means that 89 days from today would be November 30, 2025"

I had hoped that the new electronic TDAC would allow them to link the systems and resolve this irritating problem.

But since they are not linked, not only do you have to work out the new date yourself, but you also have to do it in person (there is no online option for it) or provide a postal notice.

Since entering Thailand Visa exempt I have obtained a Non-Immigrant O visa. Is my date of 90 Day Reporting from the Date I entered Thailand or the Date my Visa was stamped?

I assumed it is 90 Days from entering Thailand but given I have presented myself twice at my local Immigration Office since entering Thailand I wasn’t sure.

I will be applying for my annual extension next month and can tie that in with my 90 Day report if it is due 90 Days from entering Thailand.

This is actually one of the most confusing aspects of 90-day reports.

A 90-day report is only required if you are on a stay that can be more than 90 days.

So what that means is, when you entered visa exempt, 90-day report was not relevant.

When you got your non-O visa, 90-day report was not relevant.

When you go to get your first 1-year extension, only at this time does the 90-day report requirement start.  Once you receive your extension, the immigration officer will put a slip of paper in your passport that will have your first 90-day report date (which will be 90-days from the start of your 1-year extension).

Yes, it's very confusing.  Yes, you'll get replies that say it started as soon as you entered Thailand, but that is not correct.  Neither your visa exempt nor your non-O visa allow for stays greater than 90 days, so neither one of them started the countdown for a 90-day report.

(To make it EVEN MORE confusing, language school education visas and extensions are only available 90-days at a time, but are subject to 90-day report starting from the first extension.  Why? I have no idea. But don't try making sense of Thai immigration or you'll get a migraine.)

Thanks for your excellent response. That all makes sense to me and is very clear. I just posted this as a new topic but will update to say you have responded.

I'll just reply there too, to help anyone else that might find that post.
