Unfortunately in Thailand they are made of plastic, no glass is avaiilable only plastic lenses.

Opticland have great glasses & are really professional, but rather expensive.

Never charged by customs for Zenni deliveries.

Cost of eye exam is up to you.

Full exam at Rutnin will be more expensive than a cheap Rx issued by a hospital clinic or a local eyeglass retailer.

I recently had my eye exam at Rutnin. Full battery of tests, all the bells and whistles, cost me ~10,000 thb. The doctor recommended it because she found I had cateracts and wanted further study. I believe if you just want a simple eye test for glasses, it would be a small fee. Call them or send an email. They are quick to respond.

Go to Chavalit optic which is south of CDC on Pradit Manutam Road. Range of brands for a decent price with high quality eye exam.
