Prayuth had no plans for a coup either, or so he said repeatedly, until he got so fed up that he ultimately staged one.

 

In other words, such a statement from today will be entirely meaningless by tomorrow.

Well he is due to retire at the end of the month - so about two weeks 'till H hour - or maybe I should say C hour!

There will be a coup over the weekend, or early next week!

Don’t give Prayuth too much credit, he a puppet he doesn’t need to think. Just carry out his master’s instructions 

Who do the old heads here think the top 10 most powerful people in Thailand are besides the King? Are people like the owners of Chang up there? This military guy? Is Thaksin out of the top 10 now? Where does Anutin rank?

Well, history sides on the side of there eventually being a coup.  they do not have a steady constitution that mandates any sort of regular free elections.  And even when it does, the coups just ignore the constitution and make up another one

I dunno where Anutin ranks but he ranks below Newin his big boss.
