The victim reported her phone missing on 16 August 2025. Soon after, the suspect contacted her via social media with an appalling proposal: he would only return her phone if she agreed to a sexual encounter.

 

Authorities confirmed that both the suspect and the victim are students, with the suspect being a Grade 12 student. The disturbing demand, however, did not go as the suspect expected.
