I would imagine thats very possible, take a closer look at a man in a white t shirt ( not the fella with the white ball cap on ) on a video thats circulating. you can only see from his shoulders to his waistline in the video and it happens quick. He's behind and to the right side of Kirk.

They're going to look very bad if the ballistics don't match that gun. That video doesn't say much besides what's already been said. He says they have a lot of suspects and witnesses, which means Robinson is only one of many, and they don't have enough on him as of yet to do much. A lot of talk on messages they'll try to use as evidence but it still comes down to that gun.

There are a lot of videos coming out with them showing the people next to Kirk giving possible signals to others.

 

Many people interviewed saying they didn't care if Kirk was shot, or good. That he was controversial is a given, but who were his enemies enough to want him gone?

 

Some thinking he was shot right next to him with a hidden pistol.

 

Think of how low that supposed 30-06 sounded. It wasn't the report of a hunting rifle but a crack from a suppressed round of smaller caliber. Again, the damage done would have been much larger from a 30-06 round.
