A 32-year-old convenience store worker in Nonthaburi was seriously injured after being stabbed in the neck by a male customer who refused to pay for alcohol. The incident occurred on the night of 19 September 2025 at a store in Soi Wat Koo, Bang Phut, Pak Kret district, prompting police and rescue teams to respond immediately. The assailant fled the scene following the attack.

According to police reports, the victim, Ms Kanittha Saengchan, was working at the counter when the man initially attempted to flirt and purchase liquor without paying. After being asked to pay and make way for other customers, the man reportedly left the store in anger. He returned later, around 22:45, carrying a knife and verbally confronting Ms Kanittha before stabbing her in the neck and arm.

Ms Kanittha tried to struggle with the attacker while fellow staff and bystanders intervened to assist. The assailant took advantage of the chaos to escape, leaving the knife at the scene, which police have collected as evidence. Ms Kanittha was rushed to Viphavaram Pak Kret Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

Police investigators from Pak Kret Station are reviewing CCTV footage to track the suspect’s escape route and are actively pursuing him. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward to aid the investigation. The incident has raised concerns over staff safety in retail environments, particularly during late-night operations.
