How many times do I get ask if i am human?

Featured Replies

I am getting tired of being asked that question 20 times in a row before I can type anything. I do understand AN taking precautions doing this, but would it not be enough just the one time and not so many times in a row I just waste my time trying to answer that question so many times in a row.

I get the same thing when trying to download music. Certain websites have been hacked, and don't want to be served by bots so they use precautions.  Don't let it get you riled.

I assume this verification will depend on the type of internet connection you use.

Happen more often if you use a VPN, particularly free VPN?

Some truth behind.

But a Thailand forum should handle connection via a Thai ISP.

I haven't seen the Cloudflare since a while.

I'm in OZ and don't need a VPN I can't connect with any subject without being asked to verify if I am Human. I used to love Thiai Visa, but considering disconnecting now since AN changed . I can not post (or read ) anything without waiting minutes for my approval

@still kicking you do need a VPN set to a Thai ISP. Problem will be solved.

I'm in Thailand and use a VPN and when set to An Australian ISP I get the same problem as you describe.

Disconnect my VPN problem solved.

Try it

Being asked who you are, constantly having to verify you are human etc, is self imposed.

If you insist on deleting/blocking cookies, then their purpose (to identify you on a return visit) is gone.

Likewise ,always using a VPN, being on a different IP address or country all the time, then a website doesn't know who you are,

People appear to have lost track as to why they need a VPN in the first place. They are anonymous, then complain when a website wants to verify who they are.

90 % of people using a VPN have no real need for it, really only good to access geo locked content, otherwise just slows things down

Thanks for your reply. In my case it isn’t just about deleting cookies or switching VPNs — my internet provider gives me an address that I have to share with lots of other customers. If even one of them causes trouble online, we all get flagged as suspicious by Cloudflare. Using a Thai VPN just gives me a different, “cleaner” address, which is why the checks disappear.

I do not use a VPN I am in OZ. It took me about 30 attempts to type that. How do you guys put up with it? I am thinking about leaving AN, and I do know you don't care, but I have been a member of Thai Visa and AN for years. Does switching browsers work for you?

Did I mention that I had this two times some days ago and not again.

In the past it might have appeared every few weeks or so.

On some websites it appears when opening a website.

And that is often related to the fact that I connect from Thailand (Thai IP).

You indeed have some circumstances that trigger Cloudflare to find your connection suspicious.

Can you try to test another connection via mobile phone or the like. Use WiFi at a mall?

Use a friend or familys device?

Nothing to do with VPN.

I'm in Thailand, not using a VPN and the verifications start at around 11pm every day.

No verifications during the day, once 11pm they come frequently, like 3 – 4 times at least in 1 hour.

Brave has a problem with Cloudflare authentication. It goes into a loop. It's been around a long time with many complaints, but the developers have not fixed it.
