Thai Lady Visa Oz

Featured Replies

Just starting to look into travelling.

My wife and I, and maybe one kids are planning to go to Australia in March.

I have a UK passport as do my children, so it's an electronic visa?

What about my Thai wife, should she start applying for whatever it is now? She has been to Australia twice before, there shouldn't be any interview or anything needed in Bangkok, is that right? I hope it is all online.

Begin  with online,  then  the BSbegins, get an agent. The gods   ragainst you @Trendy building! 🙏

She will need to do the biometrics in Bangkok or Chiang Mai. With you being British not sure if you can open an Immiaccount with Oz Foreign Affairs to do it online.

How did she get her previous visas.

When I did ask first time the Visa for my wife (Indonesian) she had to go in person at the office in Trendy building for biometrics. The second time too, they wanted to see her but I cannot remember if they did take bio again.

She went to the Australia embassy on Sathorn road.

Okay, never knew that was an option. I thought it had all been outsourced to VFs Global but things might have changed.

I have always used the ImmiAccount for my wife. Try to get an extended visa in case you want to go again, we usually ask for 3 year multiple entry (3 month max per stay) but they may give more if she has been there before.

Where are they now. Looked at their website but could not find the location in Thailand amongst all of how good we are.

Thanks, will now have to do a search on Google Earth to see where that is

If you haven’t found it yet, it’s a few minutes away from the Rama 9 Metro Station.

Which is where? Us country folk do not know much about Bangkok, probably about 7 years since I have been there (except the airports).
