This is AI generated but hopefully can help.

In Hua Hin, Thailand, psychological counseling services specifically catering to Thai clients are available, though they may be less explicitly advertised compared to expat-focused services. Many providers in the area offer bilingual support (Thai and English) and are equipped to address the cultural and linguistic needs of Thai clients. Below are options that either explicitly cater to Thai clients or are likely to do so based on their bilingual staff and local integration:

Counseling Services with Thai Client Focus

  1. Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin
    • Location: 9 Pechkasem Road, Hua Hin.
    • Services: Offers psychology and psychiatry consultations with bilingual (Thai/English) staff, making it accessible for Thai clients. Services cover mental health issues like stress, anxiety, depression, and family counseling. The hospital is well-integrated into the local community and likely has Thai-speaking psychologists or psychiatrists.
    • Why Suitable for Thai Clients: As part of a major Thai hospital network, it caters to local patients with culturally sensitive care and Thai-speaking professionals.
    • Contact: Visit bangkokhospitalhuahin.com or call for psychology department details.
  2. Kidsluck Clinic
    • Location: Hua Hin (exact address available via inquiry).
    • Services: Specializes in child and adolescent psychology, offering assessments and therapy by licensed clinical psychologists. Focuses on developmental issues, learning difficulties, and mental health using neuroscience-based approaches.
    • Why Suitable for Thai Clients: The clinic is designed for the local population, with Thai-speaking staff and culturally relevant approaches for children and families.
    • Contact: Check kidsluckclinic.com for more details or to book an appointment.
  3. Sahwan International Rehabilitation Centre
    • Location: Countryside near Hua Hin.
    • Services: Provides 1-on-1 counseling, mindfulness, and therapy for mental health, addiction, and behavioral issues. Includes culturally tailored programs like meditation and holistic therapies that resonate with Thai clients.
    • Why Suitable for Thai Clients: The center employs Thai staff and integrates local practices (e.g., Buddhist-inspired mindfulness), making it accessible and relatable for Thai clients.
    • Contact: Visit recovery.com/sahwan-international-hua-hin-thailand for inquiries.

Good luck and hopefully your wife follows through, as it affects all around her. Find the best one you can afford, and if it's a man take that as they are just as good if qualified, although your wife might relate better to a woman.

@SAFETY FIRST

I ought to have been a little clearer.

The OP wants a Psychotherapist for his Thai wife & many of the clinics are aimed at foreigners.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, my comment followed yours but wasn't directed at you it was intended for the OP.

The OP could Google, then connect to the business, email or phone the business directly.

There are also reviews he can read regarding the business.

I would imagine it's not easy to find a good psychotherapist in Thailand, as the whole practice seems to be somewhat contrary to the culture, which encourages a near pathological refusal to look within for the source of the problem. But if you can find a good one they would likely be in Bangkok.

Exactly, Thais usually equate a mental health problem with "being nuts"
