September 30, 2025Sep 30 Good afternoon all. Can some of you please recommend the best IPTV for movies. The one that would offer access to the most of them. Especially American movies in the last 10 years. Any help will be much appreciated. I am in N.E. Thailand. All the best, Bob

September 30, 2025Sep 30 I have been using this one for the past couple years. https://streamq.com/ No major complaints except the EPG does not update the odd time. I seem to have fixed that by adding another (free) EPG using https://m3u4u.com/ I've used it in Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and North America. You need to use a VPN, as you would for most other IPTV services, otherwise a lot of channels will freeze occasionally because internet providers tend to throttle the streams.

October 2, 2025Oct 2 IPTV isn't the best option for movies... but it's less fiddly than streaming Torrents etc
October 2, 2025Oct 2 I have access to a private torrent site which is free. It also has iptv but that part isn't free. Pm for invite.

IPTV is much more convenient if you prefer watching on a big screen with a remote and/or channel surfing.

October 2, 2025Oct 2 @shdmn That's not the full story. It's all in the setup. There are a myriad ways to stream torrents on the big screen. That means you have a lot more choice as to the media you can choose. Instead of a single perhaps 720p version via IPTV, you can choose a version to suit. If your TV supports 4K, Dolby Vision and Multi Channel sound you can choose that. IPTV is better for Live TV channels. Torrents much better for Movies, Docs and Series.

BS, IPTV services have 4K VoD and live channels. Streaming a torrent where the seeds may stop at 90% isn't on my bucket list

Didn't matter which servers I was connecting to or where I was. It was freezing for me in Thailand and back home in North America. Especially US channels. Live UK Sports channels were ok though. That seems to be what most people like WIZZ TV for. I wasn't running it through a VPN though. Doing that might have solved my channel freezing problem.

Or you could just connect your computer to your TV with a HDMI lead and watch your torrents on a big screen too! 😉

You have a lot of freezing with Wizz, you also have a lot of freezing with your current service, unless you use VPN. Maybe the problem is your end, because IPTV doesn't need VPN to work properly

So you have used Wizz for 2 nights only, and you are already promoting it as solid? 🤣

October 3, 2025Oct 3 I have an IPTV provider called ZOO TV in UK. It is aimed at Firesticks, but works on my Android phone, and Bluestacks on my PCs. I have three apps which cost me GB 65 for the year. ALL Sports, Films, Series, Catch-Up, Live UK, USA, Europe, etc channels. Wonderful. Do not need a VPN. PM me for details.

I don't know Wizz, but I do know that I can't comment on the quality of any service after using it for 2 days only, especially not if it froze on the second night

October 3, 2025Oct 3 @CallumWK I'm happy to do a real time comparison with your IPTV service, as to speed, variety and quality. I think you don't understand how it works. How about this top ten from Rotten Tomatoes? Are they all available and in which picture resolution and sound quality? I haven't ever subscribed to an IPTV service, so it will be educational to know what they provide on the movie/TV series/documentary side. Especially for when it comes to 4K and potential buffering.
October 4, 2025Oct 4 all services aimed at Thai users are going to have some issues during extreme peak times, AIS/3BB are using some very dubious techniques to throttle streaming and encourage people to purchase monomax via their internet subscriptions or phone packages. HDprime have already sent a message to their users confirming AIS/3BB behavour, pretty sure Wizz will have the same issues during Liverpool or MUTD games. commercial vpns can help but are also experiencing throttling. so the reason you will get plenty of different options on wizz and hdprime is, some people dont use it during peak times so experience a very good service, those that only use for peak time epl will experience a few issues. going forwards non commercial vpn solutions will will be the easiest way to ensure a good experience on sat/sun epl time, just my personal opinion.
