Best IPTV for movies?

all services aimed at Thai users are going to have some issues during extreme peak times, AIS/3BB are using some very dubious techniques to throttle streaming and encourage people to purchase monomax via their internet subscriptions or phone packages.

HDprime have already sent a message to their users confirming AIS/3BB behavour, pretty sure Wizz will have the same issues during Liverpool or MUTD games. commercial vpns can help but are also experiencing throttling.

I have 3BB and don't get buffering on the EPL games using my IPTV service.

HD Prime is just covering their arse for their poor service.

And your reference to Manu and LFC is the evidence because that are much watched games, so their servers get overloaded.

Why would 3BB only throttle those specific games, since Monomax has all EPL games.

I am good with WIZZ TV.

  • BS, IPTV services have 4K VoD and live channels. Streaming a torrent where the seeds may stop at 90% isn't on my bucket list

  • I had lots of problem with channels freezing with that service.  Didn't matter which servers I was connecting to or where I was.  It was freezing for me in Thailand and back home in North America.  Es

they obviously do not throttle their own service but they are slowing/throttling at key times other ip ranges especially those using international bandwidth. I have been doing some very intestive testing not just on hdprime and wizz but also testing using overseas file servers such as linux iso files of sizes of over 3gb.

they all slow at the sametime, vpns can help, non commercial vpns using xray can help alot.

obviously on a forum like this we get some shill comments that their own service is not effected and to pm them privately etc. a quick search through a posters previous posts soon reveals this.

You didn't have to go through my post history to find that post, it is on the previous page of this thread, and the pm was to inform him of a service provider, which the OP could message and get a free trial to check out the quality of the streams.

Going through your post history was more interesting, as 90% of your posts concern IPTV and internet issues, and it is clear you have a wealth of no idea what you're talking about, and providing misinformation to others.

Shame that with such degrees you can't read properly, because I don't sell anything. I provided the OP with the email address of my provider.

I'm going to need a (paid) IPTV for sport soon.

I used to use HDPrime but they no longer accept True money which makes it a pain in the arse for me.

I see Wizz Tv is recommended but the website says they only accept debit cards.

Any others worth having a look at?

TIA

Just curious - given how 'solid' WizzTV...   is there a good reason not to use a Debit card ?

It is security, or just you don't have one ? - Options are setting up and online Revolut or Wise account (with a 'disposable' debit card).

I only have credit cards.

But... IF you 'wanted to' - there may be an option for you to resolve the issue and open a Revolut or Wise account fairly simply.

That said: I agree, its a bit of leg work when wanting to use IPTV - but, reading on here many people find the the 'disposable debit card' option a good idea.

@CallumWK Since the title topic is Best IPTV for movies, it will be instructive to know about the depth and breadth of movies available on your recommended IPTV platform.

Are all of the top ten movies on the list I published earlier available on demand? At what quality?

I thought it was clear already from my lack of response to you, that I'm not interested in a conversation with a know-it-all AN member.

Every movie of which a digital release exist, which is virtually any movie older than 6 months, will be available for IPTV.

Since there have been hundreds of thousands of movies released since the early 20th century, obviously not all can be available on a single dedicated database, because server space costs handsful of money, but blockbusters obviously are.

I assume that you are aware that movies on torrent sites are also not stored on a single server, but are spread on PC's all over the world, and although they are listed on torrent sites, there maybe no seeders available.

From your list, only On the waterfront and Seven Samurai are missing from the library on my service, probably because they are 70 years old and not many requests for it in 2025.

Every movie that exists can be requested, and it will be available in the next few days, if a digital copy exists.

Thank you for your second bordering on rude reply @CallumWK

Also thank for confirming that your claims were just a load of rubbish and my statement that using Torrents for movies and TV series being far superior to IPTV was correct.

No one should have to request a movie and wait a few days... In addition there was no information as to the quality and choice of the movies available to you.

Took me less than a minute to set up and stream On The Waterfront and Seven Samurai. Did it whilst replying to your message.

On the Waterfront 1954 Criterion 1080p BluRay AAC5 1 HEVC x265

Seven Samurai 1954 Criterion 1080p BluRay x264-OFT

I guess you/your customers may have to wait a few days...

I don't have customers, since I don't sell anything, and I was right that you are an ignorant know-it-all troll with an agenda.

I will not see your next post, maybe you also want to remind me of your previous username, so I can delete that one from my ignore list.

for those of you wanting hdprime, why dont you ask on their telegram to be put in contact with a reseller that might have other payment options.

@CallumWK Best IPTV for Movies is the topic title. Unsurprisingly, I asked for information about movies on IPTV...and have confirmed my opinion that using Torrents and similar to Stream/Download is cheaper and far superior to using IPTV for that purpose.

I suggested that IPTV was best for Live TV and Sports and that Movie/TV series options would be limited.

In my recent experience - given the 'update' on IPTV services, and general streaming services such as NetFlix, Paramount+, Prime, Disney etc...  downloading torrents is less popular than they used to be, thus meaning there are far fewer seeders...

... Recently this has driven me to source sites IPTV sites that directly stream due to the addtional time it takes to seed.

(and yes, I attempted various different VPN's to avoid any that identify and choke back torrent streaming).

For example:

- It took me about 3 hours to download a 2.0 GB movie - the Gorge which is a recent movie (and has about 100 seeders)

- It took me about 7 hours to download a 12.6 GB series - the StarTrek Strange New Works, again very recent (and has about 90 seeders).

Both available immediately on WizzTV for streaming

The only downside to the IPTV is for travelling...  we can't download a serioes we want to watch from the IPTV streaming sites.

@richard_smith237 Saw your message at 17.20, had The Gorge 2025 1080p WEB-DLHEVCx265 10Bit DDP5 1 Subs KINGDOM streaming within thirty seconds.

Star Trek Strange New Worlds S01 -  S03 2160p took a minute, as I didn't know for what I was searching.

I think you are using some outdated method.

One also needs to beware on some dodgy services with annual subscriptions. Some people I know in my area strangely got their bank accounts hacked shortly after subscribing to such iptv services that most are illegal in the west.

Why you don't take your own advice?

Did the OP ask for alternatives to IPTV, or did he ask for best torrent sites for movies?

Stop pushing your agenda, and falsely accusing others of selling IPTV

That's another fable, because when making an online payment, the recipient does not see the full account number of the payee.

@CallumWK

You might recall that I stated that I hadn't ever subscribed to an IPTV service and that I relied on your reporting as to of what they were capable.

I was under the impression that using Torrents and File Hosters for streaming/downloading was far superior, more versatile and less expensive for Movies and TV series than any unofficial IPTV service. Your evidence has borne that out.

So the OP can also look into that option. IPTV is best for Live TV and Sports.

Personally, I think many are using sub-optimal methods and so end up with sub-optimal results.

First page of my ZOO TV movies list. All at UHD or 4k quality. PM me for details.

@KannikaP I asked about the top ten in the list provided by Rotten Tomatoes. Your list is just a list of numbers. I see no choices as to the options available for each movie.

I can watch on any device and watch offline on any device and choose the best option for the device that is being utilised.

How do you do that with IPTV?

My point is that for Movies and TV Series, IPTV would be some steps downward. But at least interesting to know what is on offer.

One can have both options if the need arises. IPTV is not useless. Just that there are better methods for On Demand Movies and TV.

OK, I am happy with my system for 50 quid a year for two instances of it.

It is an apk so can install on Firestick, Bluestacks and Android phone.

And ALL Sports, News, Documentaries.

Spoke today via telegram.

They advised their QR code was not operational and gave a bank account where money could be deposited.

I will transfer one month, about 380 Baht tomorrow and give them a try.

Perhaps I am...   I am searching for the movie on a PirateBay mirror and downloading the magnet on Vuze...

I didn't try and stream play the videos through Vuse (from a Torrent)

What method are you using ?

That the other advantate of some of the IPTV services...    streaming on any device.

i.e. LapTop, FireStick (to TV), Adroid Box, Apple TV...  So as long as I am logged out in one room, it takes 5 mins to log in on another and complete streaming.

As mentioned:

The Limitations of IPTV such as Wizz - is not being able to download movies onto an iPad etc (i.e. for a flight) etc.

The Limitations of downloading a torrent is a) risk of downloading a dodgy file and b) no live stream.

I think a Good IPTV service for when at home (or in a hotel etc) - one with an 'inbuilt VPN' works best, so that you can use it on Apple TV or Android box without going though the hassles of setting up and logging on / of VPN's on those.

And then also downloading series movies you may want to watch when 'offline' (on a flight etc) from Torrents (or loading up Netflix downloads etc).

@richard_smith237 Your summary of the pros and cons is outdated. I already wrote that I can stream and download(for offline usage) on ANY device.

There is no chance of downloading any dodgy files as everything takes place in the cloud, unless I choose to download the verified file to my device.

Again, IPTV is best for Live TV and sports..and casual movie watching.. Torrents and File Hosters best for films, docs and TV series.
