Police in Loei province have arrested a recently released ex-convict accused of killing a 65-year-old man, who had shared a meal with him, before dumping the victim’s body in a nearby stream. The suspect, identified as Mr Thongnarebet Kanyaphak, also known as “Mee Poo,” had been out of prison for only about a month following a drug conviction.

The fatal incident occurred in Huai Alai village, Chom Charoen subdistrict, Pak Chom district, on October 4. Village headman Mr Krit Chollit received a report from residents about a suspected murder, prompting police from Chiang Klom Station and local officials to launch an investigation. The victim was identified as Mr Bualap Kulchanee, a local rubber tapper who had frequently worked with the suspect.

Authorities said that after the killing, Thongnarebet fled the scene. A search operation was immediately initiated, with coordination between district officers and the Loei Provincial Police special operations unit. The suspect was later found hiding in his home, but initially refused to surrender. Police were forced to surround the property and eventually subdued him using tactical measures.

According to the police investigation, Thongnarebet had gone to visit Bualap at his rubber plantation hut earlier that day. The two reportedly shared a meal together, during which the victim cooked chicken for both of them. After eating, the suspect asked to borrow Bualap’s long gun to shoot frogs nearby. The victim hesitated, fearing the weapon might not be returned, leading to a heated argument.

During the confrontation, Thongnarebet allegedly struck Bualap on the head with the rifle’s stock, seized the victim’s second gun, a pistol and shot him dead. He then disposed of the pistol by throwing it into a stream close to the crime scene while leaving the rifle behind. The body of the victim was later recovered by local authorities.

Police took Thongnarebet into custody at Chiang Klom Police Station, where he faces murder and firearms charges. Investigators said he remains under interrogation while evidence and witness statements are being gathered to support prosecution.

Talking of sheds, they should put his nuts in a bench vice and remove the handle.

Then set fire to the shed, giving him a blunt hacksaw.

There are some acts that one commits that is essentially a self revocation of the right to consume oxygen. It seems like this fool has passed that hallmark a long time ago. Time to finally execute the vermin.
