United Airlines has announced daily flights between Bangkok and Los Angeles, with the airline positioning itself as the first to offer this direct connection since 2015. South African Businessman Sues Thai MP for Defamation

A South African businessman is taking legal action against a Thai MP for defamation after being accused in parliament of being a major scammer. Benjamin Mauerberger, also known as Ben Smith, has authorised his Thai representative, Thanadol Suwannarit, to file the charges against MP Rangsiman Rome of the People's Party. A road crash in Suphan Buri on October 6 left one man dead and nine others injured when a passenger van carrying 10 people to hospital crashed into a six-wheel truck making a sudden U-turn across its path.
