Hello everybody, I'm new here in BKK. Arrived a couple of days ago and will stay for a year. I live close to Thong Lo and am looking for a nice place to go out. Are there any parks close by? Thanks for help. Joanna

Welcome to Bangkok and TV!

I also live near Thong lo and love the area as there are so many places to go to...

Parks - the closest will be Benjasiri Park which is next to Emporium Shopping Mall (BTS Promphong)

- another one will be, the bigger, Lumpini Park - accessible by BTS Sala Daeng and MRT Lumpini

There are a lot of cafes, restaurants, some small shops for shopping, supermarkets, and street food stalls around Thong lo. If you need more specific info, I'm sure you can find a lot here in TV or pm me.
