I agree and I support Trump policies.

However, what are you going to do when he calls you back because you are spending American money in the country that's a bit close to China? How very unpatriotic of you.

He wants you to come back. If you don’t, the benefits are gone. Poof! Like they were managed by Sleepy Joe

If those truly great men were dirt bags in your jaundiced eyes, what does that make your political master and imposter?

When it came to going after bad guys, RFK didn’t waste time worrying about prissy niceties like civil liberties. He was infatuated with electronic surveillance, legal or illegal. When one Treasury Department official objected to his demand that the department expand its use of wiretaps and bugs, Kennedy pointedly replied, “You look old to me. You should think of retiring.”

Because wiretaps are so invasive, civil libertarians generally think they should be used only sparingly, and with careful restrictions. RFK, however, approved some 600 wiretaps. What’s more, reports Evan Thomas, “He kept no records and placed no time limits.”

Remember this? Very inspiring. Trump does inspire a certain kind of people. He inspires them to be the worst they can be.

That is a very accurate and a very honest statement. Trump does absolutely nothing to help us achieve our better selves, and and all he does every hour of every day is tear down humanity, and make people worst versions of themselves by supporting hatred, division, animosity, rancor, rage, anger and regressive policy.

He is an extraordinarily miserable man who wakes up in the morning feeling this deep sense of shame, a lack of worthiness, and low self-esteem, and he takes out that animosity on the entire world, and everyone around him.

The man is as toxic as a malignant tumor.

When one thinks of former politicians who inspired, one has to consider RFK, a truly great man, a man who spoke with such conviction and spoke such truth at a time when America was in a crisis. He was a true patriot. A giant. He strived to encourage us to bring out our better selves. What a concept.

We now find ourselves in a difficult position, and yet we see nothing but division, nothing but hatred, and no words of inspiration from Trump.  Nothing. Only hatred and venom, the opposite of good leadership.

JFK and RFK were two truly legendary men, the likes of which we will never see again.

From a speech in 1968.
All around us, all around us, - not just on the question of Vietnam, not just on the question of the cities, not just the question of poverty, not just on the problems of race relations - but all around us, and why you are so concerned and why you are so disturbed - the fact is, that men have lost confidence in themselves, in each other, it is confidence which has sustained us so much in the past - rather than answer the cries of deprivation and despair - cries which the President's Commission on Civil Disorders tells us could split our nation finally asunder - rather than answer these desperate cries, hundreds of communities and millions of citizens are looking for their answers, to force and repression and private gun stocks - so that we confront our fellow citizen across impossible barriers of hostility and mistrust and again, I don't believe that we have to accept that. I don't believe that it's necessary in the United States of America. I think that we can work together - I don't think that we have to shoot at each other, to beat each other, to curse each other and criticize each other, I think that we can do better in this country. And that is why I run for President of the United States.

We speak of our greatness, based on our gross national product - if we judge the United States of America by that - that gross national product counts air pollution and cigarette advertising, and ambulances to clear our highways of carnage. It counts special locks for our doors and the jails for the people who break them. It counts the destruction of the redwood and the loss of our natural wonder in chaotic sprawl. It counts napalm and counts nuclear warheads and armored cars for the police to fight the riots in our cities. It counts Whitman's rifle and Speck's knife, and the television programs which glorify violence in order to sell toys to our children. Yet the gross national product does not allow for the health of our children, the quality of their education or the joy of their play. It does not include the beauty of our poetry or the strength of our marriages, the intelligence of our public debate or the integrity of our public officials. It measures neither our wit nor our courage, neither our wisdom nor our learning, neither our compassion nor our devotion to our country, it measures everything in short, except that which makes life worthwhile. And it can tell us everything about America except why we are proud that we are Americans.

We can do better here in the United States, we can do better. We can do better in our relationships to other countries around the rest of the globe. President Kennedy, when he campaigned in 1960, he talked about the loss of prestige that the United States had suffered around the rest of the globe, but look at what our condition is at the present time.

George Bernard Shaw once wrote, "Some people see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say, why not?"

you just can't stop yourself... where did you dig this one up from?

Let me point this out, one was a career politician groomed and positioned to be president, the other was a business man that was never involved in politics.

Two very different things..

I dont disagree with whoever wrote this about JFK, but to try and compare Trump, or any recent President (last 30 years) to JFK is ridiculous.

JFK was in a league of his own, just like people in their areas  Tom Brady, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, etc.

There are exceptional people and I believe JFK was one of them.

I didn't agree with everything JFK supported, just like I dont agree with everything Trump does.

I'm pretty sure that when JFK was president you were not an illegible voter, and had not the slightest clue about politics yet. Maybe still like that.

Not a cult,  a cult follows blindly, I dont see that with my friends. I dont dismiss that there are people that are cultish that follow him, but not the majority!

What I do see as cultish is AOC and Bernie's oligarchy tours, flying around on private jets to fight the rich. If they were serious they would charter a bus not a plane.

All they spout is tax the rich, make them pay their fair share. That's all he's got, after 40 years serving the public this is his stand.

How about doing something like working on balancing the budget! but no, they say something that they know will never happen, but the people will eat it up by the way they lay it out!!

Neither myself or my friends agree with everything Trump does, but we do support allot of what is going on.

You dont see it, but he's doing what is good for the USA.  You guys complain about the trade wars when you dont understand how bad the US companies have had it trying to do business outside the USA.  Look at Thailand, Canada, Laos, India etc.  Foreigners are limited to company ownership, US products have high imports costs, Tariffs, VAT, and any other fee they can think of.

You sit in Thailand and have no idea what is really going on in peoples live in the USA.  There is an issue with illegal immigrants and finally something is being done about it.

Our car insurance in the USA has tripled in the last 6-7 years and it's due to un-insured motorists (I even get a discount for it not being used all year). It's not all illegal immigrants but it's a good majority. Housing costs are up due to demand because more people are looking for houses (illegal immigrants do effect the housing and jobs market).

GO ahead and fall back to the party line "Immigrants do jobs people dont want to do"  sure they do unpleasant jobs, but there are people that will do those jobs at the right pay.

You guys complain about billionaires but then say companies cant afford to pay regular wages so we need illegal immigrants to do these jobs.
