A couple owning a hotel in Bangkok's Bang Khae district has been arrested for allegedly sex trafficking underage girls. Police Colonel Witthaya Sriprasertphap led the operation on October 28, resulting in the arrest of Wichit, 58, and his wife Boom, 37. They face charges related to human trafficking and child prostitution, following an investigation that linked them to the exploitation of minors.

The arrest was based on an October 9 warrant from the Criminal Court. Evidence seized included contraceptives, mobile phones, and financial documents. The investigation began when authorities found a Facebook page promoting underage prostitution for 1,500 baht per session, with undercover agents setting up meetings to catch the administrators.

A 15-year-old girl rescued from the hotel revealed how Wichit and Boom coerced her into prostitution. The hotel charged clients for rooms and services totaling 2,150 baht. Evidence led to the arrest of the couple and the rescue of another 16-year-old victim.

An anonymous victim recounted being manipulated into the trade at 14, under false pretenses of serving drinks. She described being pressured into sexual services by both Wichit and Boom. Their hotel was known for attracting tourists and employing several underage girls.

Authorities are assisting victims as part of the human trafficking case. Wichit, a law graduate, transitioned to the hotel business from a previous job with his wife Boom. Both suspects deny the charges but have been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Division for legal proceedings.

Key Takeaways

  • A couple arrested in Bangkok for trafficking underage girls.
  • Evidence includes contraceptives, financial records, and testimonies.
  • Victims coerced into prostitution; suspects deny charges.

So it would appear that the poor young girls were performing boom boom for boom in the hotel.

Don't they have AI bots checking for stuff like that? Weird that anyone can get away with that on Facebook.

Apparently there is anything and everything vile on FB if you know how to find it. FB is the place to find young kids of all ages.
