Badly behaved Israelis to feel the wrath of Thai law.

Sounds like he was probably from the occupied Westbank.

That is how they treat the Palestinians there also, always with IDF back up.

Everything is about projecting to the middle east for you.

It's ridiculous. You just constantly make up stuff to support your obsessive hate Israelis agenda.

  • Personally I hope it is targeted and so it should be. No need to drag all foreigners down because of the actions of a minority.

  • Yes we're all aware of your peculiar and obsessive hope to target Israelis.

By giving your money to a business saying they will ban ALL of a particular group, you support unfair discrimination and bigotry. Period. End of story. No qualifier. The specific group does not matter.

It was necessary after the way they behaved.

No business owner wants to turn away business, byput when they steal all the tissues and condiments and then refuse to pay what other choice do you have.

I think they have made it very clear with their signs that they don’t want your business.

You slipped up there didn't you Mal 🙂

You need to remember ; its Israelis you have an agenda against and NOT Jews in general , otherwise you would be anti semitic  .

Try to remember, its Israelis you are fighting against and NOT Jews 🙂

You need to try harder to keep up the pretence that you just oppose Israelis 🙂

Feel free to start a thread about the Thais putting up signs and signing petitions about the other tourists.

So just because Thais do something, in your book, it's always fair and ethical. That's ridiculous.

Of course in Thailand Thais have the right to do what they want under the law, but that doesn't mean everything that they do is good.

Israel is in the Middle East.

They are not popular there either and are banned from some Middle East countries

Unlike yourself I am not playing word games.

I am simply responding to the biggest issue the Thais have with foreigners in Thailand.

Arabs are not IDF soldiers except Druze if I recall.

Again, no Jews, no news.

Well we have gone full circle now.

A bit of Thai bashing for the Thais who are merely trying to make a living in their own country.
And you cry bigotry

Wow, we've got Captain Obvious talking here.

It's not about tourist behavior in countries that banned.

It's political and you know it! Yet you continue to push your LIES.

I read some clubs on Walking Street were banning Indians.

I don't think they put up signs.

Not even sure what the reasons were. Maybe there were 5 Indians sharing one drink among themselves and the business owners were losing money.

Thailand is not a "woke" Western country. Nobody cares about race or religion. They are running a business.

Their economy relies heavily on tourism and if they are banning a certain group, there must be a serious reason for it.

Obviously, the group in question needs to change their attitude.

This conversation here is pointless unless you have a Thai business owner and an Israeli tourist enter the conversation.

Are Israeli tourists willing to change their attitude?

It's not bashing.

It's common sense.

If you think everything that Thais do in Thailand is good, you've got a serious screw loose, buster.

Just wishful thinking.

Yes, there are Arab soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF)
. While military service is not mandatory for Muslim and Christian Arab citizens of Israel, they are permitted to, and many do, volunteer to serve.
Conscription is mandatory for men from the Druze and Circassian communities, who are also Arab-speaking minorities.

You seem to be throwing all Thais in together.
Not bigotry, much.

@JingthingI would patronise any business with a No Israeli sign, just because and I would take my Jewish girl with me, rather than a shiksa.

No Mal, YOU have an issue with Jews .

You are involving Thailand and Israelis to join your personal crusade

You just substituted the word "Jews" for * Israelis* to mask the antisemitic cause

Splitting hairs!

One percent of Arabs in a country that is 20 percent Arab.

We ALL know you are talking about ISRAELI JEWISH tourists in Thailand.

You're not fooling anyone by denying it.

I don't think they put up signs.

No signs, bouncers screen them and it is not universal.

Thai males are also not permitted to enter most gogos.

So that could be perceived by the woke as sexist and racist.

But it is just common sense as is the banning of Israeli tourists.

Nobody opens a business wanting trouble.

That is a disgusting shameless LIE.

You really can't help yourself, can you.

Do you just want to tell everyone that you've got  Jewish girlfriend ? 🙂

Understood that Thailand is not a PC country and discrimination is carried out quite often without the need for signs.

I am offended by such signs though.

I saw a sign on a bar here saying NO GAYS.

So everyone going in was supporting bigotry.

There are many situational things going on.

Approaching a bar obviously catering to Japanese.

Not Japanese, not welcome. They don't need a sign. The message is conveyed.

Not many non-Indians want to visit an Indian nightclub here.

That's different than a business catering to a diverse clientele and banning a specific nationality.

Now a restaurant in Thailand catering to everyone else with a NO ISRAELIS sign is telling everyone else that they are even telling a nice Israeli family that they are banned. So going in there, you are indeed support very explicit and very unfair BIGOTRY. Don't celebrate that. BOYCOTT it.

The problem is the Israelis are setting up real "Israel-only" Hubs all over Thailand, Pai, Ko Phangan etc., What's next, Chinese only hubs, American only ones, British only? This has to stop. Thaiand has to continue being an open and mingled, mixed tourism destination. We can't have these exclusive Chabad house hubs taking over whole regions like Pai.

Nobody will want to go to any place where one nationality completely predominates, unless it's Thais. These Israel only hubs have to be torn down and dismantled. If we want to save all inclusive, all encompassing tourism we all know and love.

I have nothing against Jews, Muslims or Christians except they cause a lot of wars with each other and hide peodofiles.

we would be better off without all them.

Better off without Christians? But my new Thai girlfriend is a Christian! I can't tell her that to her face!

Well let’s face it. They often cause trouble.

The last thing I want on the dance floor is some man coming up behind me grinding away and trying to stick the tongue in.

A lot of gays hate Muslims because gayness is frowned upon in the Quran and as such side with the more gay friendly Jews and will support them blindly.

He is up near Pai, one of the worst affected areas.

So you're homophobic too? No surprise.
