Stood her round like a champion 🙂, there was 6 blokes in our group. She's coming to Chiang Mai at the weekend, then flying south, so will have a few beers with her before she leaves

My personal experience eating at Israeli restaurants in Thailand is that I never witnessed even one such problem with Israeli customers. Ordered  Ate. Paid the bill. Also no sharing of drinks but yes sharing of food dishes like hummus Asian family style.

The are 3 different issues.

1. Israeli tourists rampaging in hospitals, bashing hotel receptionists, passing off counterfeit money at Thai businesses, refusing to pay for meals, having sex in front of children at Thai tourist attractions, etc etc

 

2. Israeli IDF war crimes, gang rapes, kiddy killing, stealing land and houses and woman killing.

 

3. Jewish people of other nationalities that seem to upset a lot of people in other countries that allow them in, but that doesn’t concern me and has been going on for hundreds of years and will never change.

I wonder what today’s Israelis in Thailand news story will be?

Yah, it's very odd, I've always had an excellent experience with Israeli and Jewish clients, always paid the bill with no delay, no haggling. No idea why Israeli tourists are like this in Thailand.

Yes, clearly there is very little respect for Thai people and Thai culture, which is why they are plonking Chabad Houses in scenic beauty spots. The humanity. That could be it.

 

Let's hope there'll at least be some good Shwarma places in Pai. Look on the bright side.

Maybe a good solution would be to restrict Israeli numbers to Pai.

And obviously bulldoze the Chabad house.

Yes, that would be an excellent and obvious measure. Unfortunately it's impossible to do that. At most they could  have issued instructions not to approve visas for Israelis. Maybe they've done that?

I did read that 2,500 Israeli visas will not be extended in Surat Thani which includes Koh Phangan and Samui.

A sensible solution.

Yes, that's eminently sensible. Alas with a 25% increase of Israeli tourists projected for next year alone,  more than triple that number of new Israeli tourists will come in though.

 

Hopefully no child killing IDF soldiers, drug pushers, fake currency peddlers and other mafia undesirables. Did you see the "Russian" mephedrone gang in Phuket being targeted now? Israeli Russians for sure.

It is already being implemented so I am not sure where you heard that?

I have come across quite a few Russian Israelis since I moved to Phuket. 
It seems they take a lot of the Russian characteristics and the Israeli characteristics and are not fond of Asian people generally.
