You only care about yourself maybe.

  • Cool story bro.

  • Took the Evelyn Woods speed reading course, did you.   I know. Truth hurts. Truth especially hurts weak men, the kind of male women don't want (unless the customer pays for her services).

  • This is written by an old guy hating on young males.

You are incapable of understanding that, but are suffering the obsession/syndrome you try to foist upon others.

64 posts in just this thread alone says who is actually suffering from some "syndrome". Pot, meet kettle. That says many things about you, none of which is good.

By the way, in case you missed it, you got hosed by an online IQ site that is created to attract weak and insecure people....praise them deceitfully with a silly fake score, and then try to market something to them.

What, you think somebody actually pays to have code written, a test made up, website created, server space bought, just to give people an "accurate" assessment of their IQ out of the goodness of their heart? If you believe that, then best take the first digit off whatever fantasy IQ the website claims you achieved.

100% narc. Trump in your brain 24/7. Get help.

Actually, he seems fairly THICK-skinned, not thin-skinned.

At least 200 million people hate him and point it out on a daily basis.

Some people actually wish him dead.

He is constantly attacked in the media, often viciously attacked, and it's debatable whether more than half those claims are true.

One could argue that all this hatred directed at him is a form of bullying.

It takes a strong person to withstand all that hate and hostility.

He lashes out at people who attack him or go against him. And so what? It's called defending yourself.

Many much more thin-skinned folks have quit the forum because they had one too many people direct a bit of hostility towards them.

Spider said the market would crash 90%. These guys are drama queens.

I did 4 IQ tests. Paid not 1 baht. All similar scores. Bought nothing.

You type up 2,000 words of hate over a guy who had the best unemployment figures in 50 years and solved the middle east problem.

The corruption continues unabated. Trump's version of making America great again is transferring trillions of dollars from the middle class to the ultra wealthy, and making sure that major corporations pay little or no tax.

The Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service, through a series of new notices and proposed regulations, are giving breaks to giant private equity firms, crypto companies, foreign real estate investors, insurance providers and a variety of multinational corporations.

The primary target: The administration is rapidly gutting a 2022 law intended to ensure that a sliver of the country’s most profitable corporations pay at least some federal income tax. The provision, the corporate alternative minimum tax, was passed by Democrats and signed into law by President Joseph R. Biden Jr. It sought to stop corporations like Microsoft, Amazon and Johnson & Johnson from being able to report big profits to shareholders yet low tax liabilities to the federal government. It was projected to raise $222 billion over a decade.

The legislation, passed entirely by Republicans, heavily benefits businesses and the ultrawealthy. It is projected to add trillions of dollars to the federal deficit and came with steep cuts to health care for the elderly and food stamps for the poorest Americans.

In notes to clients, advisers at KPMG celebrated the new “array of choices” available for investors seeking to avoid the corporate alternative minimum tax. They noted that the Treasury’s moves provided “significant flexibility” for clients to trim their bills, allowing them to “cherry-pick” the rules that best suit their needs.

Is this AI?  Complete vilification, nonsense, and attack upon anyone who holds another view.   Welcome my Ignore list.

Though you won't see this post, having put me on ignore, I also disparage people who believe the QAnon nonsense, dispute the Moon landings, think the Earth is flat, believe in "chemtrails", etc.

When something is so obviously wrong, corrupt, idiotic or of no value---such as QAnon, Lunartics, Flat Earthers, and Trump---it is not vilification to criticize them. It is common sense.

Look at Trump's base, especially the young males. Racists, Neo Nazi, white supremacists, misogynists. Read what Kirk believed. Read Nick Fuentes' (Trump's invited dinner guest at Mar-a-Lago) beliefs and comments. Read the leaked Young Republicans chats (Rape is epic; ready to watch people burn), watch the Tikitorch march in Charlottesville (Jews will not replace us), watch the terrorist attack on the US Capitol on 6 January 2021 (all pardoned, and told "I love you all" by Trump), and look up data on young white males in the US today, such as the % earning college degrees (vs women), or gainfully employed, or in relationships with females, etc. Those losers gravitate to Trump, because he not only tells them their failure is not their fault, he gives them people to blame.

That reality bothers you. Lucky you're in Phuket, because there's plenty of sand waiting for a head to get stuck in it.

Criticism of authoritarianism research—the body of psychological, political, and sociological work examining authoritarian attitudes, personalities, and regimes—falls into several main categories. These criticisms vary depending on whether the target is the theory itself, its measurement tools, or its political biases.

Here’s a structured overview:

1. Conceptual Criticisms

a. Ambiguity and overreach

Critics argue that “authoritarianism” is often too broad and poorly defined, mixing psychological traits (e.g., obedience, conformity) with political ideologies (e.g., nationalism, conservatism).

The term can sometimes be used as a catch-all insult rather than a precise analytic concept.

b. Political bias in definition

Many early theories, especially Adorno’s Authoritarian Personality (1950), were accused of being ideologically biased toward left-liberal values, portraying right-wing beliefs as inherently authoritarian while largely ignoring left-wing authoritarianism.

Recent efforts (e.g., Altemeyer’s Right-Wing Authoritarianism scale) have faced similar criticism for asymmetry—measuring authoritarianism mainly in right-leaning terms.

c. Western cultural bias

Much of the research was developed in Western, educated, industrialized, rich, and democratic (WEIRD) societies, making it less applicable to non-Western political cultures where authority and hierarchy are viewed differently.

2. Methodological Criticisms

a. Circular reasoning and tautology

Some researchers have been accused of building authoritarianism into their definitions of conservatism, so conservative attitudes automatically score higher on “authoritarian” scales.
Example: Questions that equate “respect for tradition” with “authoritarianism” can bias outcomes.

b. Poor construct validity

Measures like the F-Scale (Adorno) and RWA Scale (Altemeyer) have been faulted for poor psychometrics—low internal consistency, social desirability bias, and susceptibility to wording effects.

Others argue the scales measure attitude content (specific opinions) more than personality structure (deep-seated psychological traits).

c. Failure to predict behavior reliably

While authoritarianism correlates with some political outcomes (e.g., support for strong leaders or intolerance), critics note that these correlations are modest and don’t always hold cross-culturally or historically.

3. Political and Ethical Criticisms

a. Pathologizing opponents

Especially in the Cold War era, authoritarianism research was accused of pathologizing right-wing beliefs, framing them as psychological disorders rather than legitimate viewpoints.

This critique still surfaces today when authoritarianism studies are seen as moralizing rather than explanatory.

b. Neglect of left-wing authoritarianism (LWA)

For decades, mainstream research largely ignored or denied the existence of LWA, even though historical examples (e.g., Stalinism, Maoism) clearly show left-authoritarian regimes.

Only recently have scholars like Thomas Costello and Bob Altemeyer (later in life) developed LWA scales to balance the field.

4. Contemporary Revisions and Defenses

Modern scholars have tried to address these criticisms by:

Separating authoritarianism from ideology, defining it as a psychological preference for social order, conformity, and submission to authority, regardless of political direction.

Developing balanced measures (e.g., Dual Process Model, LWA scales).

Using cross-cultural validation to avoid Western bias.

Employing behavioral and experimental methods rather than self-reports.

Would you like me to focus the criticism more on psychological research (like Adorno and Altemeyer) or on political science applications (like studies of authoritarian regimes)?

I suppose if there’s a silver lining, it’s that old MAGAs are already being measured for the box and soon will finally do something beneficial to the planet, which is to become worm food. The Grim Reaper is making his rounds, clearing out the dinosaurs.

Young MAGAs, being largely Incels, are unlikely to be propagating their gene pool, so they too, will be selected out of the species. Today’s women have more taste than to tie up with MAGA losers, whether in the US or Thailand.

Scott Galloway's book "Notes on Being a Man" is not only now a best seller on the NYT Book List, it is far more critical of young white males than my post. He has collected all the data, and though he is sympathetic, he kind of lights a fire under the butts of these guys. He noted that 63% of US males under age 30 have never had a relationship with a female. One in three men under age 25 live with their parents, and one in five below age 30. Males are 3 times more likely to die from addiction, 4 out of five youthful suicides are males, and males are 12 times more likely to be incarcerated.

These guys are choosing porn, and violent porn, over actually trying to build a relationship with a female.

Galloway tells young men in his book to get out of Mom's basement, take a shower, get in shape, and go try to make something of your life.
