A nine-month pregnant woman was killed after her motorcycle crashed into the rear of a car in Samut Prakan province. The fatal collision occurred on Pracha Uthit 90 Road near Saichol Market in Ban Khlong Suan sub-district, Phra Samut Chedi district. Local police and rescue units responded swiftly, but efforts to revive the victim were unsuccessful.

Police Lieutenant Issara Saengsawang from Ban Khlong Suan Police Station received the emergency call at around 17:00 and coordinated with medical teams from Phra Samut Chedi Sawatyanon Hospital and the Poh Teck Tung Foundation. At the scene, officers found a black MG sedan with rear-end damage parked with its hazard lights flashing. Nearby lay a Yamaha FINN 115i motorcycle, damaged at the front. The rider, identified as Ms. Miltra, 36, was discovered lying unconscious on the road, showing no signs of life despite over five minutes of CPR. She was pronounced dead at the scene with a severe head wound.

The victim’s husband, Mr. Boonlue, 45, told police that his wife had previously worked in a garlic factory before leaving her job. She was nine months pregnant and due to give birth at the end of November. Before the crash, she had ridden from their home near a canal bridge to drop off her eldest daughter at her mother’s house near Wat Thung Khru and was on her way back home when the tragedy occurred.
