Four Foreign Suspects Remain at Large After Theft at Phuket Mall

Four foreign suspects remain at large after allegedly stealing wallets and cardholders from a leather goods store in the Botanica shopping mall in Patong, Phuket. CCTV footage from around 8 pm shows the suspects entering together, distracting staff, and two women slipping items out under the cover of a conversation while two men loitered. The store owner posted the footage publicly to warn other operators in the province. Although details of the stolen items’ value were not disclosed, the episode has raised concern among local retailers about rising shop-theft risks in tourist-heavy areas.
