Indian Blogger Issues Apology After Accusing Krabi Hospital of Scamming Foreigners

An Indian travel blogger publicly apologised after claiming that a hospital in Krabi had scammed her and other foreign tourists over cannabis-related treatment. In a social-media reel posted on 16 November, she alleged the hospital overbilled tourists for care following adverse reactions to cannabis gummies. The blogger, identified as Monica Gupta, later released a video saying she regretted causing a misunderstanding about Thai hospitals, though she reiterated that cannabis gummies in Thailand appeared to target foreign visitors and urged caution. She also advised travellers to purchase travel insurance and consider state hospitals rather than private facilities.
