The Texas house & senate voted on it , the Governor signed it into law. The dem legal organizations blocked it through a filing with the appeals court, One of  SCOTUS, Alito lifted the Block.

The Supreme Court has narrowly restricted the grounds for contesting how congressional districts are drawn. One of the few (only?) grounds is racially  based gerrymandering. There is lots of explicit evidence that this was the basis of why the districts were redrawn.

If this holds Al Greene & Jasmine Crokett will be sent packing ! GOP gains 5 seats in the House. Crokkett must be aware of this theres talk of her trying for the Senate.

I don't agree with the wording in the article from the far left news source but I find the context extremely enjoyable with the midterms  coming up. The GOP is in good position to beat the radical left dems at their own game.
