Not at all. It's the predictable outcome of what passes for policy in America. China is sucking silver out of America like a vacuum cleaner.

I posted reasons why silver has a lot further to go on another thread. Here they are:

Fact 1. Silver demand far outstrips supply, and has done so for the past 5 years.

Fact 2, Silver is only about 30% recycled. The rest vanishes, or is not recoverable for decades. Polishing silverware alone loses 100,000 ounces a year.

Fact 3. Silver is essential for everything - smartphones, tv's, military hardware, solar panels, AI. If it's electronic, it's got silver in it.

Fact 4. Silver is not a primary mining target. Copper, zinc and lead mines produce it as a by-product. Gold is mined for its own sake.

Fact 5. Silver has been declared a critical mineral by the USA. China has placed export controls on it.

Fact 6. Demand for silver in China is so high jewellery manufacturers are converting their production lines to cast bars.

Fact 7. The COMEX has been suppressing silver prices for years, with 300 paper contracts for every physical silver contract. The disconnect is total now.

Fact 8. Silver is 19 times more abundant in the earth's crust than gold, currently 45 times cheaper than gold.

Come on now. Answering a question requires a thought process.

PS Please note I said "posting" and not "replying" as you never do "reply", you just post garbage!

You're an adult. Go research stuff yourself. I have never met you. All your posts are weird.

Lets see in June.

Fair enough. But this graph is wild.

Fascism is fundamentally linked to war and militarism, as evidenced by historical and ideological analysis. Fascist regimes view war not as a last resort but as a necessary tool for national rejuvenation, asserting that violence—especially military conflict—can purge societal decadence and restore national glory. This ideology is encapsulated in the concept of palingenesis, or national rebirth, which often requires external conflict to achieve.

Historically, fascist governments such as Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy initiated wars of choice that led to their complete destruction. Hitler’s decision to declare war on the USSR and the USA, despite being outmatched in resources, exemplifies strategic failure rooted in fascist ideology. Similarly, Mussolini’s invasion of Ethiopia and entry into WWII resulted in Italy’s collapse. These actions were driven by a belief that perpetual struggle defines life, as described by Umberto Eco: “For Ur-Fascism there is no struggle for life, but, rather, life is lived for struggle.”

IMO Trump's trade war initiated quite a few unintended consequences.

I share your concerns. If Silver will form a technical "flag" , there will be more room on the upside. Dropping below 98 would mean "run for the hills".

Everything on the left is labeled as fascist, racist, and other derogatory terms. This kind of thinking is very simplistic and low-level.

Futures down 7%. Crash has begun.

Sooner or later we all will have to go back to the root of the problem. The current fascist "office holder" was elected into office twice.

A revolutionary idea: Does the American eletorate want a fascist in office? Appearantly YES.

AFAIK fascists are far right wing. Their traits are violent suppression of dissent, propaganda, compulsive lying, bigotry, racism, authoritarianism, and singling out of minorities they claim are exploiting systems, for demonization. They also seek to expand the territory they control.

Does any of this sound familiar to you?

Yet Mussolini was a socialist.

Want another "crash"? The US$ has been "crashing" versus the Swiss Franc (CHF) since January 15. This year, well understood. Still happening as I write.

There is no doubt silver will be highly volatile. It's a battle between the paper market, and the physical.

Silver has been suppressed by paper shorting for decades. This time is different, because there is very little left in the vaults to borrow for shorting purposes. That's reflected in the margin requirements, which are at record levels.

So my physical silver profit goes from 60% to 45%. I bought at USD 55.

Nothing to do with Mussolini though.

Benito Mussolini was a socialist in his early political career, rising to prominence as a leading figure in the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) before World War I. He served as editor of the party's official newspaper, Avanti!, and was known for his radical views, even being described as “more socialist than ever” after his release from prison in 1912. His early ideology was rooted in revolutionary socialism, influenced by figures like Karl Marx and Georges Sorel, and he advocated for class struggle and workers’ rights.

While Mussolini abandoned orthodox socialism, his fascist movement retained socialist elements, particularly in economics. Fascist Italy implemented state-controlled corporatism, mandatory unionism, and state planning of industry—policies that economists like Ludwig von Mises and Sheldon Richman have described as “socialism with a capitalist veneer.” In the final years of his rule, during the Nazi-backed Italian Social Republic (1943–1945), Mussolini even revived socialist rhetoric, promoting economic socialization and workers’ participation in industry

So in summary fascism is left wing unless you write for The Guardian or Wiki and tell lies.

The Silver Market has gone somewhat "astray". My broker/trading platform has not increased margin requirements. I am getting somewhat nervous if the tabloid newpapers are starting to report on Gold/Silver prices, instead of reporting about Prince Harry and his wife.

Mussolini was a radical socialist early in his career. He became a fascist in 1919, after being kicked out by the socialist party for his pro-war stance.

As usual, your post exhibits the vapid sloppiness for which you have acquired an unsavory reputation.

Yes, it does sound familiar to me.

violent suppression of dissent

I'm not seeing suppression of dissent. Please cite an example.

Lying

Name a Democrat who does not engage in lying. The Russian collusion hoax? Tax cuts for billionaire BS.

bigotry, racism

Are you referring to the FDR administration that rounded up US citizens based on race and put them into concentration camps?

authoritarianism

DACA, illegally forgiving student loans? The killing of US citizens not charged with a crime with drones?

Singling out of minorities they claim are exploiting systems, for demonization

There is a lot of fraud in MN from a certain group.

Who do you think the tabloids are in thrall to? The banks are pushing the bubble line for all they are worth, as they have massive short positions which will bankrupt them if the buyer stand for physical delivery.

His policies and views were still socialist. You got nothing but insults. He was always a socialist until the 90s when lefties rewrote history. Habitual liars.

You know nothing about markets. The price is miles above the 50 day ma and in a bubble.
