I have heard about a boat/ferry service all the way from BKK too koh tao or samui...

Can anyone help me out with some more info on that?

Only thing I can find on the net is bus to chompun and the boat... :-(

You may have heard about the weekly cruise boat coming down from either BKK or PTY.

The Lomprayah ferry service runs from BKK but that is a vip bus to Chumphon then ferry across to the islands. The only direct boats that come here from BKK I know of are some of the big liveaboards. It would certainly be an idea for somebody to try it. :o
