A 16-year-old M.5 student in Buriram’s Lahan Sai district died on 3 December 2025 after falling from a four-storey school building. The incident occurred at approximately 08:30 when rescue teams from Huk 31 Lahan Sai arrived at the scene following an emergency call. The student, identified as Theerapakorn, or “Fork”, was found unconscious on the concrete below and was rushed to Lahan Sai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Relatives arrived at the school visibly distressed. The student’s aunt, 49-year-old Saengarun, stated that he was cheerful and sociable and that she did not believe he had any intention to harm himself.
