A 30-year-old woman was killed instantly after falling from a motorcycle carrying three people and being run over by the rear wheels of an 18-wheel lorry in Rayong on the night of 5 December 2025. The collision occurred when the motorcycle came into contact with the lorry, causing the rider to lose control and fall onto the road. Police and rescue teams described the scene as severely distressing due to the extent of the injuries.

Police were alerted at 20:00 by Pol. Lt. Wisitchai Duangart, deputy investigator at Pluak Daeng Police Station, who reported a fatal crash on Road 3191 near the Lung Ui junction in Pluak Daeng subdistrict, Pluak Daeng district. Officers found the victim, Ms Kamolchanok, lying deceased on the road with critical head injuries after being struck by the truck’s wheels. After documenting the scene, rescue workers collected all remains and transferred them with the body for forensic examination.

Officers then located the 18-wheel lorry some distance away, where blood was found on the left rear trailer wheels and photographed as evidence. An 18-year-old passenger on the motorcycle, identified as Mr Jetsada, told police that he, the victim and her husband had been riding together, with the victim driving. He said the truck squeezed and hit the motorcycle, causing it to fall and his sister was run over before his eyes.

The lorry driver, Mr Wattana, aged 39, said he had been unaware that a collision had occurred and continued driving until a motorcyclist rode up to inform him that someone had been run over. He immediately pulled over and waited for authorities to arrive. Police photographed the motorcycle and lorry and questioned the driver as part of ongoing inquiries.

Naewna reported that investigators are now working to establish the exact cause of the crash through witness interviews and evidence analysis. Further action will depend on the outcome of the full investigation. Police said all procedures are being carried out in line with standard protocols.
