Foreigners have been using border runs to live permanently in Thailand for decades, long before these new varieties of visas were introduced. It's always been a possibility that one day the govt would stop the practise.

Absolutely correct! The prospect of getting together 20,000 THB cash to show for a border bounce was practically impossible for many doing repeated Visa Exempt entries. Shudder to think what they would have done in event of accident or serious illness.

when talked about dtv as i outlined a cheap charlie and scam visa, he said he knows, but.....

for youtuber floggers and ars...h....give a 5year visa,,,,  for people can show money in thai or foreign , have property here ..there is no visa  ....... . so have to stay in thai dont travel or <deleted> of,,.....

 

i am so board here, since 2018 i have residence in other country and home....i know why .

so  why no have a 5 year TR visa up to 180 days ...or / and the old non o multi back  w maybe more condition

 

i really take now into account that cmabodia offers , 10 year visa under CMSH  programm for 5k usd....would make my life easier....and forme even thai or cambodia  have both good and bad
