Thai, Chinese and Myanmar Officials Tour Demolished Scam Hubs After Border Crackdown

Officials from Thailand, China and Myanmar inspected the rubble of two once-thriving scam call centre compounds along the Thai-Myanmar border as part of an ongoing cross-border law enforcement effort. The sites, known as KK Park and Shwekokko, had already been torn down to disrupt fraud networks that targeted victims worldwide. Senior police and security representatives joined forces in Tak province to scrutinise the aftermath of the demolitions and discuss cooperation. Myanmar led the delegation through the site ruins, which were previously used for orchestrating sophisticated scam operations. The coordinated visit aimed to reinforce joint strategies to prevent these schemes from resurfacing.
