You can't but your wife can, if she has a job that is. If not, get her to rent a unit with contract for selling stuff, trickle her the dosh every week so she can top up her account (all the while trickling some back out :o ), and perhaps after 4-6 months go for the loan. It would also help if you showed you have a wedge in said bank. :D

You are probably not elgible because you can not be the buyer but you might be the guarantor with the bank's conditions, guaranteeing your wife's loan.
