A fatal road collision has left three people dead after a pickup truck driver, travelling at speed lost control and crashed into a motorcycle, killing a married couple at the scene before the pickup driver later died in hospital. The incident occurred at around 4.00 pm on 11 January 2026 on a road in Village 9, Tham Phannara sub-district, Tham Phannara district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province. The crash has caused distress among relatives and local residents, who witnessed the aftermath and gathered at the scene.

Police said the victims on the motorcycle were Mr Sittisak, aged 26 and Ms Juthamas, aged 23, a husband and wife who have a young child. Both were pronounced dead at the scene after their Honda motorcycle, registration number from Nakhon Si Thammarat, was struck with force and left severely damaged in the middle of the road. The pickup truck, a black Toyota with Bangkok registration, veered off the road and overturned, also sustaining extensive damage.

According to initial investigations, the pickup truck was driven by Mr Nat, who was travelling at high speed before losing control. The vehicle crashed directly into the motorcycle, causing fatal injuries to the couple instantly. Mr Nat was thrown from the overturning pickup, ending some distance off the road, with him suffering critical injuries and was treated by emergency workers before being rushed to Tham Phannara Hospital.

Relatives of the deceased were present and were seen crying in grief as authorities conducted their examination.

Holey moley. That's an incredible amount of damage on a pickup by a collision with a scooter.

That is just sad, all around.
