Marriage extension

Featured Replies

I intend entering Thailand on a Non O married to a Thai spouse obtained from the UK giving me 90 days.

I will obtain a re entry permit as have to return to the UK. I will return on 23rd July and the 90 days is up on 31st July.

I will need to extend at Udon Thani and hope I have allowed enough time.

Just about but you'll have to get on with it pretty sharp when you return Be aware immigration offices will be closed 28, 29, 30 July.

I did not realise that they were closed on those 3 days.

Well at least you know it now and can plan accordingly.

Might be worth checking that - your 90 days will expire on your return date + 89 days. So you are arriving on 3rd May I hope?

So to do the extension I will need ?

Marriage certificate (is the original ok or has it got to be a new one issued at the Amphur on the day of the application ?)

Bank letter and statement showing ฿400,000 seasoned for 2 months minimum on the day of application.

Photos of myself and the mrs at our house. (Do these need to be printed)

Fee ฿1900

Copy of passport.

Probably this is worth a new thread, and specify the office where you will apply. Proof of residence, witnesses, maps, many things may or may not be needed.

Suggestion from @Upnotover is good.

Seems that you need bit of advice re extension based on marriage.

Suggest you start new thread.

Mention some of things from this thread.

Include entering Thailand with Non O marriage eVisa.

Dates. The trip back to UK with dates.

Married in Thailand or UK.

UT immigration office etc

Assume you have Thai bank account in your name only?
