Hi Sorry can not see a thread for this.

My state pension is due today, 16th Jan 2026, and yes, I have noticed before if there are public holidays in the UK, Thailand, and indeed the USA, where they use an American bank and this really should go into the account automatically, but since there have been a number of National holidays can be delayed.

Pensions are paid out on dates relating to your surname in the alphabet.

Mine fall every 4 weeks on a Monday.

And normally they are debited to your account at midnight, or just after the early morning bank run UK time.

Thanks and more often than not it is delayed a day or two and it comes via an American bank and of course Thailand and UK have had about 2 National holidays.
