Sex Crimes Surge to Alarming Levels Across England and Wales

Featured Replies

Sex crimes have hit a horrifying high! An average of 588 incidents occur daily, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). In the year leading to September, 214,816 sex crimes were reported, marking an 8% increase. Even more shocking, rapes surged by 7%, totaling 74,265 cases.

Back in 2003, sex crime reports were below 57,000. The staggering rise is partly credited to enhanced police recording practices. But there's more—new sexual offences relating to sharing intimate photos came into play in January 2024 under the Online Safety Act, adding fuel to the fire.

The situation paints a grim picture: full-time students face even higher rates of sexual assault, raising alarms about safety in educational institutions. This comes amidst a series of explosive scandals spotlighting sexual harassment across various sectors, including the NHS, universities, and policing.

Experts, like Shane Mann of SaferSpace, are vocal: scandals reveal a harsh truth. Too many victims are silenced in workplaces and universities. Official figures and national surveys show a rise in offences, pointing to flawed reporting systems that fail the vulnerable. Mann emphasizes the need for confidential reporting routes to empower victims and prevent normalization of harm.

Looking ahead, the ONS plans to release detailed breakdowns of offence types and victim profiles later this year. Until then, the chilling numbers confirm the grim reality—sexual offences remain a daunting challenge in the UK crime scene.

Key Takeaways

  • Sex crimes skyrocket to 588 per day, a record high.

  • Education settings see more assaults; students at higher risk.

  • Reporting barriers hinder justice; confidential routes needed.

No surprise when you look at the countries we are importing the cultural enrichers from.

Cover up ladies. The days of liberation are over.

Brave new world.

I wonder how many of them were committed by repeat offenders that were released extra early to make room in the prisons for mean tweeters?

AntiMuslim racists, now's your chance! I'd like to see the percentages: refugees, legitimate immigrants, whites. You already know which one will win the contest.

The flip side is that reporting of these crimes has increased, and that in the past, these were under reported. In the second paragraph reference is made to new laws being passed and evolving police practice, defining additional acts as sexual offences. The article is from the ONS, from statisticians. It requires further analysis, rather than provoking prepubescent dimwits who view cartoon drug dealers as their heroes. But these dimwits lack the literacy or attention span to get beyond the first paragraph.

This is the actual report

https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/crimeandjustice/articles/sexualoffencesprevalenceandtrendsenglandandwales/yearendingmarch2025

The unattributed sensationalist source quoted in the opening piece fails to properly cite the key points of the report:

  • The Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) year ending (YE) March 2025 estimated that 1.9% of people aged 16 years and over (898,000) experienced sexual assault (including attempts) in the last year.

  • Despite no significant change in the prevalence of sexual assault experienced by people aged 16 to 59 years in the last year (2.4%) compared with YE March 2024 (2.6%), there has been a significant increase compared with YE March 2015 (1.7%), after previously decreasing from the YE March 2005 survey to the YE March 2014 survey.

  • The police recorded 209,079 sexual offences in England and Wales in YE March 2025, an 11% increase from YE March 2024; over half of this increase can be attributed to the recording of two new offences as a result of the introduction of the Online Safety Act 2023.

  • Excluding the new offences, the increase in police recorded sexual offences between YE March 2024 and YE March 2025 was around 4%; this continues the trend of increases in the number of police recorded sexual offences seen over the last decade.

  • Sexual offences recorded by the police do not provide a reliable measure of trends with increases likely to reflect a number of factors including improvements in police recording practices, introduction of new offences, and changes in reporting by victims.

The pro immigration government refuse to release the stats.

Ps I hope you understand per capita.

Two thumbs down from Brits living in Thailand who want their daughters and granddaughters still living in the UK to be victims.

Some police force regions have responded positively to Freedom of Information requests about foreign nationals who have commited sexual offences.

Here for example, is data from West Yorkshire Police:

https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/freedom-of-information/february-2025-foi-2355119-25-sexual-crimes-committed-non-uk-nationals

Look at that list and you spot something immediately! The highest % of such crimes were committed.... by Muslims (if one assumes the offender's religion is the majority religion of that country). Pakistan has a staggering number of offenders.

The population of men aged 65 or over has an annual growth rate of 2-2.5. Ergo the population of dirty old men in flasher macs is increasing.

Well apart from there havent been any anti Muslim demonstration's in the UK , why did you mention Muslims in thread about sexual assaults ?

  • Popular Post

sexual assaults are way up in all the Euro countries that have let to many of them in. Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, all have rocketing sex crimes by muslims. It's just a fact!

  • Popular Post

The reason for this is so obvious. Western politicians are truly asleep and negligent.

50 % of population are women , yet they keep voting to let

rapists in.

You don't think it's deliberate?

Create an environment that only an oppressive government can protect us from... And we'll happily give up our freedoms for the protections.

Jeez, your posts are becoming as unhinged and childish as Jonny Fartpants.

Show me one Brit who wants their female offspring “to be victims”.

Your tacitly racist drivel is an embarrassment.
