Thai Will

Featured Replies

I would like to have a Thai will that leaves my Bangkok Bank Account ,my truck and the Thai house to Thai GF . I asked her to take care of it and she starts quoting her friends saying the bank will take the money-now I have a freaking headache. I'm going to attempt to take care of the matter. There is a Thai company that will sell you the template for 24 USD . I'm sure plenty of folks have had experience with this matter and no I will NOT make her a joint owner on the bank account. What is the best way to go about getting a legal Thai will?

Thanks !

Go to a reputable lawyer. Your friend needs a recognised last will to enable her to organise the funeral and get the money from the bank in a not too complex way.

A word of caution. How are you owning a house? If it's through a Thai company then you cannot leave the house to her.

You must leave the shares in the company to her only.
