When you accidentally wipe out a family in Progressive California

Featured Replies

Ok she's 80 and it was a accident but speed kills, anywhere, even in California.

Elderly woman who killed family of 4 likely with her speeding vehicle likely to avoid prison stint

“What happened on March 16, 2024 was not a minor mistake. The woman drove at an extreme rate of speed through a residential neighborhood and wiped out an entire young family who were simply waiting for a bus,” Quadra said.

One of the reasons I stand well back from the road as a pedestrian waiting at junctions. With regard to the outcome of his incident seams a ridiculous judgement, lenient due to her age doesn't seam just to me.

Same here; I stand well back (especially on railway/tube platforms), always walk against traffic so you can see what's coming, make everyone wear a seat belt when in a car, especially the person behind me...........every little precaution just tickles things in your favour.

No justice to the families of the victims either.

“It feels like we have no rights,” Cardoso de Oliveira’s sister, Denise Oliveira told the judge.

“I feel deeply disrespected by this process. It doesn’t feel like justice.”

Riclag's thread is disrespectful to the deceased in the extreme. He is politicizing a tragedy, presumably to feed a sick sexual fetish about immigrants. The assumed politics of the deceased Brazilian creative director and his spouse are of no relevance to the story.

Oh yeah, he is the first one ever to politicize a tragedy.

soft on crime progressive initiatives.

vehicular manslaughter is a crime (a felony in this case), even if unintentional. The family of the dead, are furious.

In case anyone missed it.

The mendacity is the point.

In opening this thread Riclag has demonstrated precisely how bitterly twisted he is.

Nobody forced him to post such vile gloating over the death of a whole family, he chose to post this, he thinks it’s amusing, a family wiped out and Riclag gloats.

What a disgusting excuse for a human being he is.
