Do the bank statements for Non-immigration work visa-B need Bank stamp

Featured Replies

So I am applying for a Non-immigration work visa B from my home country. My bank account is in US. Most of my money is in US.

For the source of funds, I can only submit the bank statements from my US bank account. These statements will not have bank stamp or signature of any one from the bank.

Will the Thai Embassy in Chennai, India accept these bank statements?

I've never heard of a non-B requiring proof of funds. But normally a Thai embassy will accept bank statements from any bank, as long as they match your name.

Here in the Employment category, they require financial evidence that I have at least 30K Thai Bhat:

Interestingly my local embassy which is one of the four embassies in my home country is not asking for bank statements. 2 of the remaining four are asking for bank statements.

Online where I am filling out the visa application, I am required to upload bank statements as well.

You are applying for e-Visa.

A copy of balance along with 3 month bank statement should be sufficient.

That will not include bank stamp and signature

Got it. Thanks

No country in the world has more than one Embassy in a single foreign country. However, many countries also have Consulates in addition to an Embassy. I hope that you are not applying for a work visa in order to become a teacher.
