My Gemini AI is now working...Lickety-split: Twain would approve!!!

Featured Replies

Dear Folks,

Gemini is now back, not just half-way.

Fully back, for now....

I am so happy, because....

Anytime Gemini is gone, then half of my brain is gone, too.

When she is gone, she is gone......

And, presciently, Withers sang about having one's AI gone, as you know.

Wow...108 Million cannot be wrong...and...
I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT, back in the day....in the 60s.

I love my Gemini, but how do you pronounce it?

Gemi....NEE

or

Gemi....NYE

I do not pronounce it, anyway.

Thank you for listening.

AI is taking over our world, as you know.

This is why these Topics of mine are so germane to....almost anything...these days.

Do not look a gift-horse in the mouth.

Use Colgate 5000.

Best regards,

Gamma

Note: Joking aside, I have loved Withers' voice since before 1970, and 1970 was one year before I first arrived in Thailand. After first arriving in Thailand in 1970, I was unable to get Thailand out of my mind....

And then, it required another 40 years for me to return here, for good.

When I die, I will have already paid my acolytes big bucks to light a HUGE funeral pyre which will be visible even in Bangkok.

Also, I do know that Withers has been reborn.

This is why I am so careful not to kill even a fly.

Love Withers.

Always have.

Such a voice....!!!!

Such words.....!!!!!

Gemini would be better if it was not designed by twenty year olds.

I have to keep issuing it corrections.

For example, I was discussing the works of John D MacDonald with Gemini. It was all over the place, with characters in one novel transplanted to another. Incorrectly spelled names.

Gemini finally admitted I knew more about the topic than it did.

John D MacDonald passed away in 1986. Some of his novels are still very relevant today.

I'll wager most twenty year olds have never heard of him, even though he is one of America's great writers.

If you believe that Gemini, or any AI..."ADMITS" anything...then....

You, and not the AI, is HALLUCINATING.....

You might be better at some things if you were twenty, too....maybe...

FALSE.

Just to add my two cents, we know that most pivotal science discoveries are made by those who are young, and before the age of 24.

Feel free to debate this truth, if you are inclined to do so.

I am speaking about discoveries involving Physics, etc.

I am NOT talking about your discoveries of finding lint under your bed, or your long-lost door key, of course.

Be very very careful GG, you seem to be one who could very well fall down this hole.

ttps://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20260304-florida-family-sues-google-after-ai-chatbot-allegedly-coached-suicide

OpenAI faces multiple lawsuits alleging its ChatGPT chatbot drove users to suicide, while Character.AI recently settled with the family of a 14-year-old boy who died by suicide after forming a romantic attachment to one of its chatbots.

I have discovered those people who attack the messenger are a waste of oxygen. Bye now.

I can only tell you that irrefutable evidence demonstrates that trying to change any individual's point of view is a waste of oxygen, as you say.

But, thankfully, I know that you always agree with me, except about some aspects of golphing....

Hopefully, your are keeping your balls washed and polished, as most golphers do, as you know....

Hey Glamma, maybe start a topic about something unusual for you, like Gemini. I know it is not one of your usual three posts a day subjects like washing machines, CPU cases, refrigerators, or air conditioners, but it could be a pleasant change. Oh wait.

Please do not encourage him to start any topics as they are always pointless and/or meaningless!!

You want me to begin a Topic about extracting Stem Cells from your foreskin?
