I thought that the destruction of the "nuclear capabilities" of the Iran was a major goal to start this war.

As I gather, everything is being bombarded, including Teheran where there are no nuclear developpement sites. Eliminating important "officials" that can be replaced in no time at all.

Never hear about "eliminating nuclear capabilities" of the Iran.

Or are my newssources failing me?

I read on this forum from."well informed" "experts" that Iran was only trying to develop nuclear power, in line with international accords.

Nothing says genuine peaceful purposes and nothing shady than having thrir facilities half a mile underneath a mountain.

Nope - conquering Iran, overthrowing it's government, and then stealing its oil for the benefit of the United States is THE major goal to start this war.

Without the war, the world would be in an "oversupply" situation. The US is a oil/gas exporter. Plus confiscating Venezuelan oil, the US would have to invent a McDonalds "oil burger" to get rid of the surplus.
