Small Plane Crash in Khao Yai?

Featured Replies

i herd some vage news last night of a plkane crash with bangkok airways in Kao Yai. last night on the thai news.

i could only make out bits of it. it looked like they were searching for the missing plane. there again. i might be wrong. would like some conformation if possible.

sometimes i am complety wrong when i try to translete thai.\

Just herd the words Bangkok Airways. Batty head. Kao Yai. and Forang AUstrailia and forang Francie. then sore pictures of what looked like to be a search crew flying around in helecopiters looking at there GPS screens.

Very unlikely. If it was on Thai Television we should have had it in our newsfeed, but nothing there.

There is something in the Bangkok Post today about a small plane (Cessna) going down and an aussie team either looking for it or pinpointing where it went down.

sorry to be so vague but i left the Post on my breakfast table back at the hotel.

I think you'll find a plane went missing/believed crashed about 7/10 days ago in Khao Yai. They have been looking for the crash site since then. Two thai trainee pilots from one of the services I think. It has been in the news. Should be able to look it up.

Yes it was a small plane with two people as far as I knew.
