Sikh Killer’s Racist Lie Left Dying Student In Handcuffs

Sikh Killer’s Racist Lie Left Dying Student In Handcuffs As Police Believed Him

Vickrum.jpg

Teen’s Final Pleas Ignored After Brutal Knife Attack

An innocent university student repeatedly cried “I can’t breathe” and begged officers for help after being stabbed six times, only to be handcuffed and arrested as he lay dying in a Southampton street.

Newly released police bodycam footage has reignited fury over the death of 18-year-old Henry Nowak, who was fatally attacked by Vickrum Digwa, a 23-year-old Sikh weapons enthusiast who was this week jailed for life with a minimum term of 21 years.

The shocking footage shows Henry telling officers he had been stabbed and pleading for an ambulance. At one point, an officer responds: “I don’t think you have mate.”

Moments later, the teenager is dragged along the ground and placed in handcuffs while repeatedly saying he cannot breathe.

Digwa Dagger.jpg

Killer’s Claims Turned Victim Into Suspect

The court heard Digwa falsely claimed Henry had racially abused him, assaulted him and knocked off his turban before the stabbing.

Those allegations were accepted by officers at the scene, leading to the dying teenager being treated as a suspect rather than a victim.

Judge William Mousley KC later rejected the claims entirely, saying he was “sure” that Henry had said nothing racist.

Prosecutors described the accusation as a “wicked lie about a dying man”.

The court heard Digwa stabbed Henry with an eight-inch ceremonial dagger before pursuing and filming him as he attempted to flee.

Family Condemn ‘Inhumane’ Treatment

Following the sentencing, Henry’s family said the way he was treated after the attack added to their suffering.

His father, Mark Nowak, said justice for the killer was not enough and demanded a full investigation into police actions.

He said his son died “humiliated and handcuffed” while the man responsible for the attack was treated with dignity.

The family highlighted the contrast between the treatment of the victim and the killer, noting that Digwa was not handcuffed and was reportedly even allowed to choose food while in custody.

“The way he was treated was inhumane and degrading,” Mr Nowak said.

Political Firestorm Erupts

The case has triggered a fierce political backlash.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage described the footage as among the most shocking examples of discrimination he had ever seen, arguing that officers appeared more concerned by allegations of racism than the stabbing itself.

Conservative politician Robert Jenrick called the footage “harrowing” and said the victim had been treated like a criminal.

Critics have pointed to the case as evidence of what they describe as “two-tier policing”, while others have demanded answers about how officers failed to identify the obvious victim.

Calls Grow For Full Investigation

The trial revealed Digwa had a long-standing fascination with weapons and kept what prosecutors described as an arsenal of blades at home.

The judge said Digwa had brought shame upon both his family and his faith by using a ceremonial Sikh knife as a murder weapon.

Meanwhile, Hampshire Police has already apologised to Henry’s family for arresting the teenager as he lay fatally wounded.

The case is now being examined by the Independent Office for Police Conduct, with growing calls for full transparency over officers’ actions during Henry’s final moments.

For many observers, the most haunting images are not of the killer, but of a dying teenager desperately pleading for help while the people sent to protect him placed him in handcuffs instead.

That's a rather random observation , isn't it ?

Any connection between fly tipping and this story ?

" 27. Another consequence of those lies is that the attending police officers honestly believed that there were reasonable grounds for suspecting Henry had committed an offence and arrested him with the consequence he was handcuffed for about a minute before his condition further deteriorated and the arresting officer began CPR. The police were given a convincing but wholly false narrative of the incident. It was dark and Henry was wearing a dark top. The entry damage caused by the knife through it, would not have been obvious. Whilst there was visible blood on Henry, it would not have clearly been seen coming from that wound and the clearly visible facial wound was not lifethreatening. Henry was complaining that he had been stabbed and was struggling to breathe but that would not have necessarily told the officers how serious the situation had become. It is the experience of the criminal courts that sometimes, someone arrested and handcuffed will feign injury in the hope they may be released. These police officers were faced with having to make quick decisions in pressurised circumstances about the best way to act. The genuine shock to the particular police officer, when he realised that he had been giving CPR to Henry when he had a serious chest wound tends to show that he was doing his best in a very difficult situation."

Those police officers need to be jailed.

Clearly they felt that ascertainting whether Nowak had said something racist (he hadn't) was far more important than ascertaining whether he was in fact bleeding to death from a stab wound.

One again we see the negative effects of mindless race baiting and playing the race card.

We see the inherent 2 tier nature of UK policing where everyone must be believed except the bad racist white man.

The Manchester bomber left alone for fear of security being called racist.

The rape gangs covered up for fear of police being called racist.

Now this. Just stab a white kid to death and try to justify it by accusing them of racism. Don't worry - the police will arrest the victim and let him bleed out as you accuse them of lying about being stabbed.

The police? Not even suspended.

Sickening.

I was wondering how quickly you would pop up and as usual, you don't disappoint.

Your obsession with trying to push this 2-tier justice nonsense is truly something to behold and of course completely forgets that people are tried by a jury of their peers so unless everyone in a jury is somehow co-opted to follow the instructions of the government, then it holds no merit. This has been demonstrated in the July 2025 trial of Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, who was convicted of assaulting two Greater Manchester Police officers (PCs Ellie Cook and Lydia Ward) and a member of the public at Manchester Airport (something I'm sure you'll conveniently ignore) and although both brothers were also on trial for assaulting PC Zachary Marsden during the same July 23, 2024 incident, prosecutors confirmed they would not pursue a third trial for the charges related to PC Marsden after two separate juries failed to reach a verdict. This is NOT the justice systems fault but rather the possible outcomes that comes with trial by jury.

As for this particular incident, brewsterbudgen has clearly shown where the problem lay with the officers at the time and that this poor lad was handcuffed for about a minute before the police realised his injuries were a lot worse than first though (it was dark and Henry was wearing a dark top. The entry damage caused by the knife through it, would not have been obvious). It was an unfortunate incident that was rectified as soon as possible and absolutley should not have the policer officers suspended as you are asking for.

But you keep banging that drum Jonny in your thinly disguised islamaphobia/racism and your addiction to far-right propoganda that simply doesn't allow you to think objectively in any of these matters.

Utter nonsense.

Start with, ‘clearly the actions of the police officers must be fully and transparently investigated’.

Thereafter we’ll know what lead to their actions.

Such a rational response would of course deny you and others recourse to the ‘mindless race baiting’ you refer to.

So how do you 'splain the fact that the actual killer wasn't handcuffed?

He said his son died “humiliated and handcuffed” while the man responsible for the attack was treated with dignity.

The family highlighted the contrast between the treatment of the victim and the killer, noting that Digwa was not handcuffed and was reportedly even allowed to choose food while in custody.

I mean, other than 2 tier enforcement?

I've seen the bodycam footage.

They need to be dismissed then jailed. Send out a strong message that this constant pandering to minorities who throw around the race card is unacceptable.

RIP Mr Nowak.

First of all my heart goes out to the parents of this poor lad. They must be devasted and are rightly lashing out at the police for what they believe is the harrowing last moments of their sons life.

I think I'd do the same but that doesn't stop the fact that this was a mistake from officers that believed they were attending a racist assault as the initial 999 call was made by Digwa's brother who said his brother, Vickrum Digwa, was being racialy abused. The officers then arrive to hear Digwa say the same and without thinking the poor lads injuries were as bad as they were, handcuffed Henry Nowak. However, as soon as they realised how bad Henry's injuries were, the handcuffs came off and Digwa was arrested instead. And if you want to talk about justice then the fact Digwa has already been convicted of murder and will serve life in jail shows that the system ISN'T 2-tier and will prosecute when all the evidence points to guilty.

However (since unlike many of you, I can remain objective) I believe there is a case to be made that officers should have believed Henry Nowak when he said he had been stabbed and could not breathe (even though people cry 'victim' all the time) and so this has rightly gone further with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary referring themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) who will no doubt give their view of the incident at a later date.

The only people who deserve blame for this is the citizens of the UK, who continues to ignore what their ancestors fought for to keep their island free and safe. No one else. The cops were too afraid to help their own race and did not want to upset people who have not shed blood for the UK in prior wars.

To any member who think out Policing is justified watch the body cam footage. This poor lad was stabbed in the face yet the police cuffed him and read him his rights as though he was the aggressor while the Murderer stood watching accusing a dying boy of racism, his mother even turned up and took the weapon away she should also be charged with aiding and abeting a crime. I think one of the female officers left the force so not to face any trials of the officers who dealt with this incident. Even after the court sentance the murders family shouted racist insults at jury members once the murdering family member was sent down. The murderer was even took to the police canteen and asked what food he could choose. If it was a white man arrested he would have been banged up immediatly and put before a magistrate the next morning not offered a choice of a meal.

How comes you don't know your history ?

Over 300,000 Sikh soldiers volunteered for the British Indian Army during World War II

The total casualty rate for the Sikh community during both World Wars was staggering, with approximately 83,000 turbaned Sikh soldiers killed and over 100,000 wounded.

Absolutely, what makes this worse, if that is possible, is "White cop kills Black man" (George Floyd) triggered global months-long outrage, protests, riots, policy changes ("defund the police"), corporate virtue-signaling, and endless media coverage.

"White cops involved in the death of a white boy" (Henry Nowak, 18) — where he was stabbed by a minority perpetrator who lied about a racist attack, and police handcuffed the dying teen while he repeatedly said "I can't breathe" — has received comparatively minimal sustained outrage or national reckoning, especially from mainstream institutions and left-leaning outlets.

Why am I not shocked!

They were to concerned cuffing him and reading his rights and listening to the murderer instead of seeing his wounds and immediatly calling for an Abulance. Lost minutes could have saved him.
