The Immigrant Council of Ireland is a national independent non-governmental agency that responds to the emerging needs of immigrants in Ireland. It is being established by Social Innovations Ireland, an organisation set up by Sr Stanislaus Kennedy in 2001, which works to demonstrate and create new innovative responses to changing social needs in Ireland. The Joint Steering Committee of the Immigrant Council of Ireland is made up of individuals who have expertise, interest and commitment in the area of immigration.

All people seeking to live in, living in or travelling to Ireland are guaranteed their human rights.

The Immigrant Council of Ireland is an independent organisation working with and for immigrants in promoting their rights through information, advocacy, and awareness.
