Ok it's only a week since he's been online, but it's been a month since he posted a topic :D

Has he been sitting under a Bohdi tree, has he been doing a Michaelangelo on the ceiling of his house, or has he been practising the Columbian nose flute?

Opinions please, real or imagined... :o

Bops is a busy man with many things on his plate. He often takes breaks to get stuff organised. I'll email him to see how he's doing.

On the other hand he could be out hunting Christians!!! :D:o

The Bopper does this all the time, as a constant he's a variable, and as a variable he's a constant....... if he went missing for six months that would be another matter, a couple of weeks, normal ...... where's Tip though? .... and Redrus, he's posting again but with nothing like the same frequency, bloody long honeymoon if you ask me...... sorry, forgot, other people have a life :o

Frankly I think Red and Tip and Bops are bored of posting here.

I don't think so. Neither of them are posting with the same frequency, they'll be back - I hope so...

could not even blame them...

I'm pretty bored too. Thing is, when I left Thailand I didn't think TV offered me anything - thailand-uk is more relevant for my needs. I did suggest a sub-forum for people wanting Thai services, etc abroad - but nothing came of it...

I think I'm down to about 1 post a month now...

boo....

well i totally agree with Dan Sai Kid - thailand-uk does seem better suited for those of us with a thailand connection but living in UK (the name gave it away didnt it)

ive not posted on TV since my holiday March/April this year... and since then i rarely log in, only to see if i have any mail, look at the photo gallery and view a couple of threads, but to be honest most of those seem to be exactly the same as I was reading a year ago - just with a whole load of new posters.... kinda feel separated from a forum that i spent so much time on at one point - but thats my own fault i know.

anyways - good to see that theres a few names still kicking around that i recognise.

TLW :o

666 :D

(oops wrong thread - sorry force of habit)

i love you guys and miss your posts of utter drivel. :o

Nobody loves me anymore either, since I became a modddddddddd.... khall who? I'm going to eat worms! :o

nobody loves us carl...

i know mate - but we're strong.. we can get through this

Hey everyone, I am still alive!

About a month ago I started school at a real university, Kansas University (KU) in Lawrence Kansas.....and it is KICKING MY A$$!!! They have placed a lot of work on me. I have done enough work that I should be a senior yet I am missing a few froshmen classes for my BA. So, I am taking Applied Behavior Science and Geography as well as Chinese and a history course on the American Civil War. Alot of work.

Also for the last month I have been battling pneumonia. Took me out last week completely and has set me back in school by a week. On top of this I still have to work and spend time with my wife, which I don't get to do all the time.

Speaking of family, some of you might know that I have a daughter. She is now 4 years of age, soon to be five, and while no offical test has been done we believe that by July of next year she will have a baby brother or sister. :D I guess I am good at something after all.

So, yes very busy and over worked, but not complaining, life is life and I can love it or bury myself. When I have a little more time to spend I plan on visiting for I really enjoy TV and the people here, but the books call to me and that BA is a must.

Thanks for thinking of me guys, warms something in me......not sure what though.....just kidding!!! :o

Wow, congratulations Bebop, that news really puts all that work and pneumonia nastiness into the shade, well done!

Echo that, hope everything works out for the best!

Good to hear from you man, sounds like you're on the right track, stay positive.

Thought Tip was just away working?

Great to hear from you, Bops! Hope you feel better, and great news about the baby. Hope it shows up before July, tho.

You studying jungguohua or history or? Ching sueshi haode.

Shi,wo shi xuesheng. I am taking a class which is Mandarin Chinese (first year) but my major is East Asian history. The idea right now is too have a phd that deals with cultural and other forms of exchange between Qing China and Chakri Siam (19th century) which would allow a close look at 19th century development in both countries and closer look at the rulers of those times. I hope this will also allow me to teach both SEA and EA history at college level at any school. I am still working on learning Thai as well, so I hope knowing these two languages will always help me make more money but will also help me do true research and publish something worth reading and maybe teaching from.
