ON a previous forum topic, readers indicated items are routinely removed from luggage when they arrive at Suvarnapum airport. So I carried my notebook PC with me on the plane. Should I take it with me when I leave Bangkok tomorrow night?

I would never, ever, pack a laptop into hold baggage. I always take in on board. If nothing else at least you can watch a DVD or listen to your music if the AVOD doesn't appeal or work.

Anything of value never goes in checked luggage - just asking for handlers to take it otherwise.
