I have a question, would it be possible with a good dish to receive european satelite signals. So i could see some public dutch tv or discovery chanel ect. The people at the satelite shop can't really help me they only know that it receives a lot of satelites and can search for them automatic.

No, it's usually not possible. The satellites will usually be 'over the horizon', so your satellite dish will not be able to 'see' the satellite, regardless of how a dish you use.

An alternative option is to install a 'Slingshot' box in your house/mate's house in Europe and receive your chosen channel over the internet..
