Sorry, McG, but here in Canada "skunky" refers to aromatic beer (strong hops or yeast smell/taste), "skanky" refers to a whole other thing, which I am too much of a gentleman to bring up.

Spent most of the afternoon yesterday crawling around the pub floor looking for money. Didn't find any. Went home.

And had a beer, of course.

I did some digging in the garden...I didn't find any money but I did find about five rocks....AND LOTS OF EARTHWORMS AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT EARTHWORMS ARE BETTER THAN MONEY.

I went and had a peach tea to celibrate....AND EVERYONE KNOW THAT PEACH TEA IS BETTER THAN BEER.....unless the beer is on some knickers.

I always thought it was a derogatory term but I really like some of these women.

Well, technically we travel over the Arctic Ocean to get to the UK, where you can't even get fish & chips wrapped properly in newspaper like we can. Now that the Brits have gone French.
