It could be argued that when it comes to self-preservation, Thai citizens appear to exercise less caution than tourists, and markedly less so than Western expatriates - certainly when looking at the behavior motorcyclist this would appear true. -

You are correct, as we don't know turnout levels yet. It's pretty obvious that Trump is staggering to the finish line, and Harris is peaking. This is nothing like 2016, when Hillary was hit with the Comey letter and lost momentum. The election pros understand the dynamics of the two campaigns, but nobody knows what turnout will be like. -

Bangkok cheaper than Jomtien
Depends on where the Op is staying. The real question is, when you go out of expat areas what do you do there? You have no reason to be living there. You can get things cheaper, but if you don't fit in or have expat activities it does not work out. Most Thai's are living in those cheap areas because they are working during the day, flopping in at night, or going to school. If you're a single guy, it's not the right location. -
