Now if that doesn't lean toward my argument, what is the point, post count or word game, your choice........

I hate it when I eat too late and can't sleep - last night was a nightmare!

On This Day : 11th September

1297 - Scotsman William Wallace defeated the English forces of Sir Hugh de Cressingham at the Battle of Stirling Bridge.

1 lone Scot against the English forces - they bred them tough in those days. :)

Same thing would happen today mate.

You can be sure that if a semi-naked man, wearing women's clothing, covered in blue circles and screaming unitelligibly, ran at bunch of nicely turned out young Englishmen in uniform, they would run too. Same fear of buggery exists today as it did back then :)

Usual Saturday in Town against the boys in blue!!

Doesn't make sense you know when walking around and feeling hungry. So many food stalls but where to get a real shoarma. Yeah I know this is Thailand but I miss my garlic sauce laden shoarma. I don't like the rolls they sell here.

Shoarma?

Alex, is that some variation of my favourite, Chawarma, is served in Middle Eatern, Arab and Israeli restaurants.

If so, yeah, they need a proper bun/wrap, and garlic sauces etc, I love 'em.

Only one decent place here in Auckland.

They have great felafals too.

In the CBD, rarely go in there, unfortunately.

Took my partner, she is Filipina, was dubious, but now she loves it.

Bo please tell me if it looks like this.

Shoarma is the Dutch spelling by the way

That looks nice and healthy!!! :)

Put your hands together for Vera Lynn :- :)

Dame Vera Lynn has become the oldest living artist in the world to have a number one album after she beat The Beatlles to the top of the charts

The 92-year-old has now usurped Bob Dylan as the oldest artist to grace the number one position after her album We'll Meet Again - The Very Best of Vera Lynn went straight to the top of the charts.

Her album outsold artists including the Arctic Monkeys, Jamie T and the Kings of Leon, and beat The Beatles' much-hyped remastered editions.

Good on the old girl, she's great!

Today's Odd Spot :-

Monday September 14,

An Austrian man has been fined $87 for breaking wind while he was being questioned by police officers. Police in Graz said the laughter of passers-by humiliated them, giving them grounds to book Hansi Sporer, 20, under laws stopping people abusing police.

They should have at least also tasered or pepper sprayed him right?
