Today's Odd Spot :-

Monday September 14,

An Austrian man has been fined $87 for breaking wind while he was being questioned by police officers. Police in Graz said the laughter of passers-by humiliated them, giving them grounds to book Hansi Sporer, 20, under laws stopping people abusing police.

hmmm, that one's got me thinking about a bunch of what ifs.

All this talk of food reminds me..

I went to my doctor and asked for something for persistent wind.

He gave me a kite. :)

The days are swiftly flying...

The days are swiftly flying...

Which is more than can be said for that poor little chick on the pavement at the side of my house, this morning. Poor little thing, didn't look like it's first flying lesson was at all successful. :)

Laura Buxton released a helium filled balloon during celebrations for her grandparents’ gold wedding anniversary in Blurton, Staffordshire, in June 2001. Attached to the balloon was her name and address and a note asking the finder to write back. Ten days later she received a reply. The balloon had been found by another Laura Buxton in the garden hedge of her home in Pewsey, Wiltshire, 140 miles away. Both Lauras were ages 10 and both had three year old black Labradors, a guinea pig, and a rabbit.

That's hardly random Ken - but it is a bit twilight zone...

It's a dead match isn't it?

Competition wise, yeah.

Just trans-tasman rivalry.

The Australian Diamonds have clinched the five match Test netball series against The New Zealand Silver Ferns with a dramatic 47-46 victory in game four in Invercargill.

At least our netball blokes can do better than those sheilas playing for the Wallabies.

There they went, there they went, there they went. There they went, there they went, there they we-eent...

It is a profitable thing, if one is wise, to seem foolish.

Thursday September 24, 2009 Tiger or scaredy-cat? Two-year-old tiger Tanvir climbed his new five-metre, timber-framed play platform at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm near Bristol on Monday at 9am — and has been stuck ever since. Samantha Cordrey from the zoo said: "He’s a bit of a wimp. We think he will come down when he gets really hungry."

This isn't you is it Suegha ? :D Perhaps a glass of red wine might work..... :)

.

Lucky bastit.

Only one decent place here in Auckland.

They have great felafals too.

In the CBD, rarely go in there, unfortunately.

Took my partner, she is Filipina, was dubious, but now she loves it.

Being from a country with a questionable cuisine (which I hear is many people's verdict on the Philippines) is a big plus when travelling. Myself being a Swede have a very easy time adjusting because most cultures have better cooking than we do (with a few exceptions but mostly true).

Apart from Great Britain, what would the other exceptions be?
